Flacco is having a great year, for him, so far. His performance yesterday was admirable. But I think if you give a decent QB with a very good team enough chances, they are eventually going to have great playoff game.
But yes, if keeps going at this level...say all of next year is like his season this year...then given his age you may consider him over Tony.
Right now, I don't think so. He's been a starter for 5 years and always produces David Garrard/Alex Smith type stats. 20-22 TDs and 11-12 picks, QB rating in the high 80s. His playoff stats have been about the same, slightly worse. In other words, very JAG like.
But maybe he is breaking through? We'll see.
