McCoy started good with 2 TDs, has since thrown two INTs. Texas cannot run block. Texas defense can't cover my old arse. Arkansas state has missed 2 field goals and has controlled the game. Besides that Texas looks great.

Thank goodness we're not playing App. State, we'd be getting blown out.

Texas just drove from midfield to the 1 yard line and got stuffed on third and fourth down. Charles has to make 3 moves to get going just about every run.

You'd think APP State - Michigan got their attention so it's hard to say they didn't show up but either they didn't show up or they are just stinking it up. Give Ark State credit though, they are playing tough and could very easily be winning this game.

Ark State onside kicking, 8 points down. Ark State recovered, refs calling not enough players on each side of the ball. Looks like a bad call. Longhorns recovered second kick.

No they don't. They have talent according to scouts, but it is a lot of unproven talent. They have lost a lot of players from the championship team a couple of years ago. How anyone expected this years team or last years team to be as good as the team that won it all is perplexing. Their young guys need experience. Maybe next year or the year after they can be a true top 10 team, but the past two years they were ranked based on their 2005 championship. And that is not to say that they won't get better this year. I just think it was too much to expect them to be the 4th best team in the country.

Hopefully that was a huge wake up call to the Texas program. They need to take that horrible game and use it as motivation because if they play like that with TCU coming to town...look out.

This saturday's game with TCU has Arksansas 2003 written all over it right now.

I have felt from the beginning that Texas was not the number 4 team in the nation, but i would put them around number 10 if they play to their potential on offense.

The D is going to be swiss cheese though all season long.
