I know we lost Pierce for the year...wonder if Bill gives Johnson a look. He was supposed to be pretty good at one time. He's still young. I have no idea why a team as bad as AZ would release a good pass catching TE! Makes me wonder...

Johnson is regarded as to slow to be an effective WR and not strong enough to be a pro TE. His rep as a "tweener" left him unable to fill a position. I don't know if he's gotten bigger or faster, but it would be interesting to know if he's developed.

He's already been cut by the Raiders the team that drafted him. He was a bust. More of a guy you take to camp for a looksee, not now.

I'll eat crow on this one!

I thought that Teyo was going to be a stud. I had a chance to watch him a lot as a football player and basketball player at Stanford and he often looked like a man amongst boys.

But geez, the Cowboys may have the best group of TE's in the NFL. What can he possibly do to crack more than a try out?

yeah...but this is a very different offense than the one Novacek played in..

Parcells is not looking for undersized TE's.

He's cut twice already.

No thanks

Ive used Teyo on my Madden team and he's led the league in receptions for tight ends two years running! Even better I think I only traded a 5th round pick for him.

What does this mean? Absolutely nothing. Just wanted to give him props.

Yeah, I was wondering what the deal was with him. If he has attitude issues then forget it.

Except that Novacek had great speed for a TE. It was often said that he COULD have played WR with his speed.

The first "Mike Williams". Doesn't have the mentality to play TE nor the quickness to get separation at WR.

When Johnson came out, some people where claiming he should be a first rounder because they looked at his numbers instead of his game.
