UPDATE 4:35 PM – Texas stars on display.

- Highly decorated quarterback, Colt McCoy revealed he will not throw here in Indianapolis. “It’s not that I can’t…”, the risk of re-injury is worrisome for the signal caller. McCoy also stated he has been throwing every day on a strict regiment.

- Texas teammate Sergio Kindle described the car incident earlier last year. “Coach Muschamp had a dinner at his house. I was texting and saw brake lights. I did not realize it was the flashers until I was up on it. I then swerved into the building.” Also grilled on his limited production this season, Kindle felt teams schemed better against him and it was not a direct result of fellow defensive end Brian Orakpo moving on to the pro’s. “Being double teamed opened up things for others along our defensive line.”

- Texas Christian’s Daryl Washington has already had quick meet and greets with Cleveland, Tampa Bay, Oakland, Miami, and Tennessee. The athletic linebacker expressed the possibility of running in the low 4.4 range in his forty yard dash attempts. Most teams he has had those discussions with earlier believe he is predominantly a 43 weakside linebacker.

- The consensus top rated prospect in this year’s draft, Ndamukong Suh of Nebraska, mentioned he had a short dinner last night and a brunch today with the Detroit Lions who hold this year’s second selection. Surprisingly, Suh has yet to meet with the team holding the first overall selection, the St. Louis Rams.

- Tennessee’s Dan Williams gave a moment of his time and credited Tennessee’s former defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin for part of his vast improvement this past year. “He helped me while watching and breaking down film”. Teams have been speaking with the stout interior blocker projecting him as both a pure nose tackle and potential three technique.

- Some ends are being projected to outside linebacker. In the case of North Carolina State’s Willie Young he will be participating in linebacker drills here in Indianapolis.

- Northwestern star Corey Wootton stated his previously injured knee is now 90% healthy. He will compete in all the drills, but he felt he lost some burst from his junior campaign. Doctors looked investigated said knee and proclaimed it “nice and tight”.

1A) Arrelious Benn, Illinois – 20 repetitions.

1B) Donald Jones, Youngstown St. – 20

3) Marcus Easley, Connecticut – 16

4) Four tied with 15 reps (Chris Bell, Eric Decker, Jacoby Ford, and David Gettis)

- Miami’s Jimmy Graham has continued to impress. The former basketball player was fluid and caught the ball extremely well. He also ran solid routes.

- Pitt’s Dorin Dickerson showed a lot of speed, quickness, and the ability to be a deep threat.

- Wisconsin’s Garrett Graham and BYU’s Dennis Pitta caught the ball particularly well.

- Coming off of injury, Jermaine Gresham was solid but not spectacular. He let some balls slip through his hands and lacks get up and go speed. As an aside, he is physically imposing and athletic looking.
