Thank Goodness We Didn't Resign Sensabaugh Longterm

I was actually pretty high on the guy last season, I thought he brought a lot of stabability to the position that was absent during Roy Williams last few years here.

Having said that, his tackling leaves a lot to be desired. That pathetic whiff on Manningham for the TD was autrocious. Reminded me of Ken Hamlin and his forearm shoves.

Where did the fundementals of tackling go?

I'm glad we didn't make the mistake of resigning him to a longterm deal.

I thought we had signed him to a multi-year deal, or at least they were talking about it. IF not, then we dodged a bullet there.

He is nothing but a JAG as is Alan Ball and any of the other junk they have been signed since Woodson retired....

Cant blame Sensabaugh really..he should never be left 1-on-1 with Nicks that's just bad coaching. Sensy is what he is..like the guy above me said, a JAG. he's not a terrible player, but hes not a game-changer either. We knew that going in.

You can blame him for his poor tackling...

No kidding. I could not see what so many on here saw in him.

We need 2 new starting safeties next year.

He's a bit like Bradie. He's a solid all around guy who does everything, but nothing really at an excellent standard. Nothing wrong with that per se, you need those types of guys. Our early 90's defenses were full of guys like Thomas Everetts and Fred Stricklands and Tony Casillas and and Kenny Gants and Larry Browns.

The problem is you pair them with zeros like Alan Ball, and the spotlight shines on how middle of the road they are.

You took the comparison right out of my mouth.

Bradie isn't a specimen, but he has made some big plays. Sensabaugh is a Zero IMO, and last night, he was less than zero.

I'd look for a safety to be drafted early... Plus another will be picked up via free agency.

How about these 2?

At this point I'm all for throwing the other safeties on the field to see how they do. What we have now is complete garbage. I would rather see what Church and others do while on the field.

It can't get any worse!

Alan Ball is not a JAG.

Alan Ball is worse than a JAG

If Ball was a JAG, it would leaps and bounds better than he is now.
