The Cowboys are the worst FA negotiating team in the NFL. When you consider their strategy of making every negotiation a high stakes deadline at the very end where they end up with worst case scenarios, it is more than reasonable.

The can only sign their people to record breaking highs and they do not have the ability to identify and acquire free agents of other teams. Their reasoning is basically that it is hard so they don't even try.

They wait for their phone to ring, because they think it gives them leverage. The problem is no one is calling, unless they are out of other options.

It is beyond hilarious how every expensive FA is linked to the Cowboys and we don't spend more than $3M on FA player.
