It is times like this that I need you guys the most. I can come here and vent with family. We all have our differences of opinion, but it's the love of the Cowboys that bonds us all. I don't remember what I did after a tough loss before discovering The Zone.

I normally would agree, but this loss hurts on such a level that I can't really be consoled right now. This is worse than the playoff losses to the Vikings and Giants, simply because I no longer believe we can win big with Romo. He just isnt on that level, he doesnt have the "it" that I believed he had.

I was just thinking about how this site probably saves some women from being punched. sadly, I'm serious. regardless, count me in agreement on the sentiment. this site helps me to go to bed not-as-pissed off.

Well, I believe he has it. It's just that it may not be the it that you're looking for.

Wow. I'm hurting, but I feel better about the team overall because some of the questions were answered. It's just one game, but the O-line looked decent for stretches and they're still learning. The defense showed promise, even with a banged up secondary. It wasn't perfect, but I saw more pass rush than I've seen in some time. Romo is a concern and I admit some doubt has creeped in. I "apologized" for him up to this point, but the fumble and interception were inexcusable. I still feel better about our chances than I did before the game.

Technically yes but we've had to experience this feeling more than once because of this team.

It's a trend sadly.

I feel worse, because I thought Romo was the gem and the team was the turd. Turns out we really can win with this team, hell we had arguably the AFC favorite dead to rights in their house, but Romo cost us the game.

Can't argue with that (although there were other factors).

I'm now convinced that Romo is fool's gold

The bad decisions that he makes is in his personality; it is not going to change. That is why we keep seeing it over and over and over again. The team need to realize this and limit what he does in critical moments of the game. Give him a short leash or take the ball out of his hands all together.

Someone else mentioned this. I'm starting to think maybe he should be given the bus driver treatment. We keep expecting him to win the game for us. Maybe that's the wrong role for him.

You win with a Favre-type gunslinger, you lose with a Favre-type gunslinger. Them's the breaks.

Doesn't mean we have to like it at all when we lose 'em. Just got to recognize that they're going to happen. It's not a tonic to assuage the dejected and disheartened after a loss because we usually remember those more vividly than we do the same said victories.

Sorry that there's not more of a point to this post. I'm not Van Gogh. I lose creativity when I'm pissed.

And the Packers wasted many championship caliber teams with that type of QB. Meanwhile, Dallas was winning titles left and right with a talented player who knew when to not throw the game away. Now the roles are reversed, go figure.
