Just wanted to say thanks. Coming here has helped me get over this loss just a little. Still stings...but coming here has helped, was ready to turn my back on my favorite QB who i have defended for years...but coming here made me realize, i can't give up on Romo yet, he is still the Man for the job, and i hope he succeeds this season, and his here for many more years to come

I'm ready to turn my back on the loss and look at it as a positive moving forward, if we get into the playoffs with a huge lead we know what to do now, and thats when it really matters.

The only hard part now is, getting past this freaking bye week....i have a feeling though we will roll the pats:star:

I've backed tony for a long time but yesterday's loss is really making it hard to defend him. I get he's trying to do more than he should with a shaky offensive line and a couple of running backs that are not playing like we all thought they would. We have alot of other problems than Tony but he is a big part of it at this point

:laugh2: Ok.... Keep thinking Romo is the "man for the job".

I believe after this bye week, he will come back blazing....or at least i hope so

for all those saying they can't defend him now, how much did you defend him last week?

it's not support if you only do it when you win.

i'm more amazed at the day to day changing of the chicken littles around here. the only thing that can ever be is the last thing they saw.

annoying.

Sorry, but that's life. Are you implying that the players are only entitled to undying support and patience no matter how they perform week to week? Insane. Was my grade school teacher obligated to give me good grades on tests just because she "liked" me? Of course not. Tony failed a test yesterday and we properly graded him. You don't get A's or the benefit of the doubt just because you have a star on your helmet.

i won't lie he deserves the hate this week...

but does he deserve us to turn our back on him? i dont think so bro....

it's not the end of the season...now if he does this vs the Rams....then we have a huge issue

Did she kick you out of school? Did she claim you will never do anything with your life?

Romo messed up no and's if or but about it. Saying he messed up is one thing claiming this team will never accompish anything with Romo is another

did i say it wasn't life? no. i said it was annoying. HOWEVER there are obviously people who view/see more long term, even if just in *this* instance now isn't there?

i didn't give him a benefit of doubt.
i didn't say his performance wouldn't be discussed.

"he sucks and has to go now!"
burning jerseys

yea, that makes sense and very valid grading and discussion there. what WAS i thinking?

i get it that people are frustrated. you don't watch the biggest meltdown in franchise history and not get frustrated.

but *to me* you don't go changing everything after that either.

You did turn your back, and just like all the other fairweather fans, youre back now.

I understand where youre coming from dude but control your impulses.

A wiseman once suggested to look at horizons instead of moments. Romo will get us there. Trust him, Garrett, and JJ.

If you dont want to its easy, go be a fan of another team, because when it comes down to it, THIS IS ROMO'S TEAM.

I like your posts, and this is not an attack on you personally, but I read your posts last night and thought, "Man, this guy was just on the bandwagon yesterday....? " Choose a side and STICK BRO

Life? No. But if I consistently flunked math, she'd be right to doubt my ever becoming an engineer.

Depends what you mean by "accomplish." Fans who think he's an impediment to a championship should not be dismissed as "crazy" at this point.

that's when i keep saying that people don't see the big picture, only moment and it's as if "that moment" redefines the entire history that got it there and kill the entire potential for where it's going.

it's not. it's 1 turn on a roller coaster during an entire season. but people give up the season at game 4.

some people are just amazing.

But I don't see you getting mad at Tony or the team. I mean, if not now, then when? Never? Instead, you direct your ire at the extremists, who are too few to mention. Hell, the burning jersey guy isn't even a member here. So start aiming your fury where it really belongs.

what good would it do to get mad?

am i frustrated? sure. but to pretend 'the movie' is over already is premature, juvenille, and stupid to me. i look at the entire road ahead and just don't stop to ***** out the speedbumps along the way.

it's my fury - i'll aim it where i want.

now again, coming in here going DAMN THAT ROMO and GARRETT MUST GO or the ever loving famous always used crutch that should be dust by now JONES MUST GO.

would my own life be any better if i joined that crowd? hardly. i've never lived by crutch phrases and pride myself on a bit more overall thought than that. i've learned where to place my passion and good places for a touch of apathy as well along the way.

if whining at the speedbumps makes you feel better, have at it.

Your absolutely right bro...i would never give up on the cowboys, but yesterday i was so mad, i wanted to turn my back on Romo...but it's like getting mad at your girl, and wanting a break up at the time, then realizing..that your making a mistake...kinda the same with me...but i agree with you, i was wrong and angry

My brother said something really interesting to me yesterday.

He said that he knows how it feels now to be a battered wife. He said he knows he should stop watching, but the few sights of brilliance in the other person give him the hope of staying, until it happens again...

Whatever.

Im married to the boys and im not calling the cops. Beat me til im dead. #Romosexual

So you're only capable of two emotions when it comes to the Cowboys: love when we win and silence when we lose. Since I'm not a hack or a mindless homer, I really can't relate. If you're not willing to criticize them when they fail, then don't praise them when they succeed. If you do, then others will throw that hypocrisy in your face.
