I'm surprised that none of you are talking about the Giants loss last night. The Broncos running game destroyed the Giants defense, and yet not one thread dedicated to this humbling defeat.

This Thankgiving has been fantastic. A Cowboys win compounded with a Giants loss. Thanksgiving doesn't get any better than that.

NY has now lost 5 out of it's last 6 games. :)

We HAVE to win this upcoming re-match.

There was a game thread on it last night, but yeah, that was a huge bonus to add to our win yesterday!

We are now two games ahead of them and face them next week. We win that, and I believe we will, and they are effectively out of the division race and would likely be out of the playoffs altogether.

I don't like the Broncos but I was rooting for them last night. :giants:

This next game should be personal for our team.

We need to walk in their house, end their season, and get a W.

Its time to get revenge for that 1st game that they had no business winning.

Hell yeah bro. I sure wish I could have seen it myself. Freaking cable. I agree Dallas HAS to win this game to keep their division record on an upward swing.

I'm glad Denver won, we always wants the other NFC East teams to lose when it affects our playoff situation.

That said, the loss insures we'll see another GB type setup, having to play a decent team on the road thats basically trying to save their season. I'm sure they'll be pulling out all the stops to win this game. We need to play better than we have the last 3 games to go there and win.

Miles Austin wasn't Miles Austin the first time we played them.

He was that girl that you knew had the potential to look good but she just didn't know how to show it.

Now Miles has make-up on, jeans that show off her ***, and is even showin a lil cleavage.

Go Miles.

I agree with you, but I can only go by what I've seen thus far in recent times.

When has this Cowboys team of late taken anything personally?

Baltimore game last year to close out Texas Stadium? Fail.

Philly game last year to enter playoffs? Fail.

First home game in our new stadium? Fail.

I'm not saying it can't happen, but recent history is against us on these "take it personal" games.

Here comes another one of those "big games" that the Cowboys usually "choke" on according to big media. It's reminding me of the Philly game earlier this season. I think we will go up to NY and win. I don't care how it looks division wins are always great. In the past, I wouldn't trust this Cowboys team to pull out close ones. But after KC, Philly and Washington, I think this team can pull it off.

Welcome to 2009.

Also, it will be 2010 in one month. Just a heads up, you know, in case you wanted to live in the present tense.

Well, my examples are over the last year with vastly the same nucleus of players.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that we can't win the next game. However, we have a tendency to choke when the other team comes out hungry.

With that being said, I want nothing more than for us to dash the Giants playoff hopes. However, I think it will take a monumental effort. Also, the refs will do everything they can to keep the Giants in the game, as it is bad for the NFL if the team in the largest TV market is out of the playoff hunt.

I agree. And dbair1967 made a good point about this game kind of resembling the Green Bay Packer game over two and 1/2 weeks ago. A team fighting to keep their season alive. A team with their backs to the wall.

This time, Dallas has seen the end to that particular movie. I believe Dallas in some ways is a team fighting some things with their backs to the wall as well. First off, we have a revenge factor going into this game. Just remember game two of this season. The loss we suffered to the Giants in our new stadium. A game we had no business losing, they had no business winning. Secondly, all those December demons we have to shake to prove to everyone that we can win big, meaningful games in December and January.

I guess you could say our backs are to the wall as well. December looms and we have some proving to do.

That's where I think you are very wrong. We have a number of different starters in key roles now that seem to have changed the attitude of this team....and a number of others that have seemed to mature. I don't think comparing this team to even the team of last year is applicable.

They may fail too, but it won't be because they're the same team as last year.

But you're right, this is a huge barometer for us. If we go into New York and end their season, I think a lot of fans and critics are going to change their tune towards this team. I think it happens.

I agree tomson. If we win the game in NY, with a lot of the media picking against us, because it'sthe month of December, that will go a long way in changing everyone's tune towards this team.

A part of me though wants the media to continue to discredit the Cowboys because of their December and January pasts. Us against the world.

wrong.....

A Cowboys win, Giants loss, and Longhorns win.......plus some pecan pie.....Thanksgiving doesn't get any better.

Now the NFL just needs to hurry up and take the game away from Detroit and give it to the Steelers. This way, the two most popular franchises in the NFL can host a Thanksgiving Day game.
