Dez was amazing yesterday, laser focused. It's so good to see that he can still be a dominate WR, hopefully that Dak-Dez connection is going to be some fun to watch the next few years.

Word of caution however although he had a great game yesterday it was against a weak and depleted Packers secondary. He needs to ball against stingy defenses and shut down corners.

Having said that, his best two games this season were against the Lion's CB5 (an UDFA) and the Packers CB4 (a UDFA). He did what he is paid to do in those situations, which is dominate.

What I am interested in seeing next season beyond is if he can find a way to refine his game a bit and beat CB1s. There were too many times players like Janis Jenkins who locked Dez down. In the case of Janoris Jenkins had a grand total of 2 catches, 14 yards, 1 fumble over the span of 2 games.

After 2012-2014 I thought he was on a HOF track. I don't think HOF is unlikely at this point, however, if he can stay health I think he can be 1200-1300 yard, 14-18 TD receiver again.

He has to stay healthy, but he's obviously capable of that. And he's still plenty young. He has a lot of good seasons ahead of him.

Did you see the tough catches he made? That's how good receivers are judged. The coverage there, Dez still made the plays.
