Thank You Tennessee, Cleveland Eliminated!!!

Kerry Collins basically won the game for the Titans today. Vince Young has not really impressed me much since turning pro.
Young was playing well while he was in there and led his team on an opening TD drive. It was his fault that Lendale Cheeseburger White fumbled the ball deep in Indy territory as well as their own. 14 of 18 for 157 yards and only playing a little over a half isnt bad.

philly turned out to have a very tough schedule...

2 games against

Dallas 13-3
NYG 10-6
Washington 9-7

1 game against

NE 16-0
GB 13-3
Sea 10-6
Min 8-8
Det 7-9
Buf 7-9
NO 7-9
Chi 7-9
NYJ 4-12
Miami 1-15

That was a brutal schedule.....9 games against playoff teams.

He was having a pretty good game before the injury, it's not like Kerry willed them back from a 21 point deficit or anything. You make it sound like as soon as Kerry came in, they were flinging it like the Patriots.

It is considering we all we hoping it was going to be at worst a top ten pick

This assumption (admittedly on my part) saddens me to this day. :(

So should Philly consider themselves a stepping stone to the playoffs?

Well Vince did not come back in the game and Kerry led them to victory. Nothing to read between the lines with anything I said. If you are a VY fan, then I'd be concerned why he choose not to come back in the game to lead his team to victory and into the playoffs.

... Because he was hurt?

Now who's reading between the lines?

That is good news. Wished it would have been better but it clearly could have been worse given the play of the Browns this season.

Actually I really liked him and thought he was a great college QB. IMO he has not showed much since turning pro. No biggie though considering he should have plenty of years to grow into the position.

Agreed. I actually thought he played better last year than this year. I blame it on the Madden Curse.:
