Thank You Tony Romo

I'm so thrilled we've got this guy. He's one of my favorite players in the entire league and I do believe he's absolutely the biggest reason we're even anywhere near as good as we are. Without him this team is a 5-11 team, at best.

Truth. At least for me, I supported him during the start of the season when he was less than stellar. T Romo is the man, I pity the fools that doubt him..and YES I still remember you yakuza and dblair.

I will agree with anyone who says Romo isn't in the same class as Peyton Manning. But then again not being in the same class as someone who's likely to be seen as a top 5 of all time QB at the end of his career is hardly damning criticism. Brees is having a better year, not sure I would take Brees over Romo for the long haul, but its a discussion I think.

Romo helps make this offense work. Hes probably not the best player on the team, he's probably the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team.

Romo is hands down the BEST PLAYER ON THIS TEAM!!!!

Anybody that thinks we win more than 4 games without Romo is on crack. The dude was flat-out ballin today........not his fault the o-line, running backs, entire defense, and special teams freaking blow.

Romo played very well.

It's such a shame that he's going to be tossed around in the "December fail" talk.

Their arn't that many QB's not named Drew Brees,Peyon Manning and Tom Brady that would have kept that game close.

I applaude Romo for his efforts.

The defense can go jump off a cliff for all I care.

How you doing Slate.

I am in complete agreement about this defense.....IT FREAKING BLOWS!!!!!

Wade's job is to run the defense and considering the defense is a complete joke, I think it is fair to ask the question "what do we need Wade for then"???

Seriously, why do we need Wade if the defense is going to be a complete joke, we might as well let Garrett call the defense, it is not like he could do anyworse.

Ugh. Can't sleep:mad:

I just don't get this defense. They ball for like 4 straight games..getting a game clinching INT just a week and a half ago, then they put together this awful performance.

It's too inconsistant and very concerning.

IMO, the offense balled today and the defense had so many chances to get the needed stops. So frstraiting.

I 100% agree Tony Romo looks very good. We just need to get the Running Game on Track and I would be starting Tashard Choice and bring in Felix and Barber behind him.

I feel bad for Romo. The guy has all world talent, and even though he's had bad games, he's the only reason this team is as good as it is right now.

Outside of a few other special players on both offense and defense, most of the rest of the team doesn't live up to their end of the bargain. I almost feel like the rest of the team, as well as the atrocious and biased reffing that always hits the team, is costing him the opportunity to lead a team to win SBs.

How come nobody talks about the missed TD to Choice in the flat? I was out of my chair with my hands in the air before Tony threw the ball because I saw the TD unfolding. Making that play at that time would have kept the MO going our way and put the Giants into a huge hole. It was an easy read and throw. We should have had that.

Tony is a very good QB and the best we've had since #8. Yesterdays loss in not on him although he missed TWO plays that severly impacted that outcome of the game. That's the nature of the beast at that position though. Unfortunately games often come down those one or two plays that are either made or missed.

Again, for the record. I am a huge Romo fan and couldn't be happier that he plays for the Cowboys.

His biggest flaw is that he can be a bit erratic and you JUST CAN'T leave easy points on the field. Tony left 14 easy points on the field yesterday.

He has shown improvement from last season and I look for him to keep learning and improving.

Romo played very well today, and has for much of the season. He isn't what's wrong with this team.

But special? Watch the guy up in Indy or the guy in NO. That's special.

Manning is a number one pick, while Brees was a second round talent so they're both expected to be "special". Romo is an undrafted free agent who's just as good as they are on his best days...so he is indeed special.

Brees, Brady, manning, rivers, etc. If they were our Qb would struggle the same, if not more than Romo. Real talk.

Overall, Romo has played well this year.

The "talent" surrounding him is vastly overrated on this board and in the local media.

Romo is the most valuable player on the team, being a QB almost gurantees you that unless you have a double stud RB also.

But as far as pure talent goes I think the most talented player on the team is quite easily Ware.
