Hey all,

This has been a fun ride this year. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made it a really enjoyable experience and a place to talk football with others.

I'd also like to thank you all for not imploding with this tough loss. It hurts, no doubt, but I like the positive, moving-forward style discussions we're having, even if some of it is about negative stuff and who needs to be let go.

Thanks, Zoners! Lets get excited for the draft! :star:

We won a playoff game for the first time in eons.

We won the division.

We won some big games down the stretch of the season (in Dec).

While the season didn't end the way I wanted it to, I am happy with the improvement and some of the accomplishments.

I imploded. I also didn't point fingers or start the blame game cause we got our rears handed to us.

If we play Minny again, I think we lose again.

So I'm not gonna ***** and moan about the coaching staff or the players.

They were a better team than we were ... hands down. They forced the mistakes, and they kept us off our feet. Doesn't matter who was coaching ... the great Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson would have both lost this game.

Great season! Way more satisfying than 2007, even though we ended in the same round. really enjoyed it!

I'll probably rant and rave for a day or so, just to get it out of my system. The good thing is the future looks promising and actually feel better at the end of this season than the last few. There are alot of positive things to take away from this season.

I wanted anther Lombardi this year, but I can't argue with your points! This team is on a rise and Romo has turned a corner. I remain excited about this teams chances in the future!

At last I have confidence that even if Jerry cleans out the coaching staff and a few players that he will be making the right moves.

I was hesitant to believe that the team would be more than 7-9 - 9-7 with all the subtractions and the lack of an 'impact draft', but Jerry exceeded expectations.

The subtractions were all correct, and the additions of guys Olshansky and Brooking, while underwhelming, added character and work ethic to our locker room. Romo became a leader without a certain other distraction, Austin spread his wings, and if we could get a certain petulant #11 moving, the team would just need an OL infusion to be elite.

Get it done, Jerry.

If nothing more, a lot of questions were answered this year. We had tons of questions last offseason. Not so much this offseason.

I also take away some learning from this game. Playing a better team exposes our weaknesses, and we go into the offseason and address them.

We did that last year with the drubbing at Philly, and we were better for it this year. I think we go into the offseason and address the O-line, and we'll be better for it next season.

To those that want to fire the entire staff. Be careful. There is a lot to be said for continuity and keeping expectations high. A change in coaching actually lowers expectations.
