No way, Showers can't even hold Samchez's jock strap.....why do people still think Showers can be a QB, he is only on the PS because he is a better athlete to simulate players than they can find an actual 10th decent PS player.

Eh... we know next-to-nothing about the young J. Showers - or what he could be. Meanwhile, we've been made painfully aware of Mark Sanchez and his limitations. No question, no decision... no dilemma.

Move on from the proven garbage.

Didn't they move Showers to safety during the season?

We seen Showers show nothing in PS for 2 years, time to move on from him as well.

I had gone all year without cussing the Cowboys...thank you Sanchez for showing me that I am still capable...you sir suck!

Why didn't they keep Romo in the game? It makes no sense. He was screwed the chance to show he is better than Dak Prescott.

If nothing else, this game was useful to prove that Sanchez is not a viable option to he the backup next year
I'd accept a backup QB at the worst JUCU before Sanchez. Sanchez SUCKS.. We are better off keeping both Romo and DAK.

I think it should be. It was the difference between 4-12, and 13-3.
Yes...because going into TC when our QBs were Romo, Moore and Dak....you thought the team had made backup QB a priority....

The fact is there isn't enough good starting QBs.

There's no need to go back to TC, we can see today that the guy coming in behind the starter needs to be competent and is worth an investment for that quality. I think you want your organization to always learn from their mistakes and to not purposely walk into a problem if it can be avoided. It was a gamble then, and it would be a clear mistake now. Dak being a good enough player to save the season when we got burned again 3 preseason games in, is more proving the worth of why you go out and do something like this.

Is there any way we could miraculously restructure Romo to stay here where he belongs?

The Fox crew was talking about his desire to win (start). Lord willing, his desire to be a Boy trumps that.

Sanchez can GTHO. He had a chance to make a statement, and boy did he ever...

I always liked Kellen Moore better than Sanchez, that is not much of a choice but I will stick to my guns hope to see K Moore in 2017 vs Mark Sanchez. Sanchez's display was Weeden-esque in the talent quality he showcased on the field.

You guys are hilarious....especially those calling for KMoore

Sanchez was great today by any means but he is the perfect backup QB

The OL and running game also played poorly and left him with few options....Butler taps his toe and its a different outcome

Sanchez with the first team is a more than capable fill in....better than last year

Dak is such a huge story because it rarely ever happens. Hunting for the perfect backup to have a fairytale Dak like success story is a fool's errand.

Just goes to show me we might have gone 16 - 0 or 15 - 1 with a healthy Romo. In no way is that meant to be anti-Dak, its just the plain hard truth!
