At the end of this draft I just wanted to extend my thanks to you. You have helped to make the NFL a great league.

Compared to your counterparts in the NBA, MLB and NHL you have done a great job, in fact there isn't even a comparison. Labor and Management work great together, you do not get hauled in front of congress on a regular basis, viewership is high, and there is enough revenue and excitement for everyone.

I've had some small issues with some of the rules over the years,... oh, and this past super Bowl... but all-in-all, you have done a commendable job, and you are leaving the league in great shape.

Thanks again for the great service and making the NFL the #1 league in the Nation.

Pete Rozelle made the NFL #1. Tagliabue just hasn't screwed it up too badly.

I echo the thread starter's sentiments. Say what you want, Rozelle built the league, yada yada yada. The league has grown into the number one league in america, is the strongest of all the leagues, and continues to take it's hold on America.
