Let's get the worn cliches out of the way first: "In a 60 minute game no one play won or lost the game". "Sure the percentages on kicks that length are high, but noone makes them all". "We still had our chances after the miss". "Last week he made a 56 yarder". "What are our choices anyway, Vinatieri's not getting released you know". "Playing the blame game is all well and good but we just need to execute better as a team". "We win as a team and we lose as a team".

Ok, now that's out of the way. I say cut him. Today. Why? Because he cost us the game. Period. End of story. I could have made that kick and I'm 46 years old. He choked. Gagged. Blew it. Came up small when we needed him. He's not to be trusted. When you've arguably lost 3 freakin' games out of a total of four because of missed chip shot FG's it's time to bring in a pro kicker before we're eliminated from the playoff race. I say bring in Morten Andersen for FG's and rehire clown boy Cortez for kickoffs. Yeah, it's an extra roster spot, blah blah blah I don't care. Fix the problem. And it's bad enough to lose the coin toss in OT but this guy Cuntif kicks a wuss kickoff that gives them nice field postion to start OT. I know it's harsh, but I've seen enough. Bye Cuntif.

Don't cut him, just make him kick field goals all day today, tomorrow, and Sunday, until his leg falls off.

And while we are at it, let us cut Bledsoe. If he did not overthrow the receiver in the 1st quarter, Champ would not have picked off the pass and taken it in for a score, we would have won. Lets cut the entire defense. Heaven forbid they first give up a touchdown to Dayne (his first as a Bronco), without which, we would have won, but then they let him rip them again in ovetime to set up the win, without which, we probably would have won. Because of that, I think Zimm should have his resignation on Jone's desk first thing Monday morning. The o-line needs to go. They just cannot block well enough to open a hole for our backs to run through. If they did, we would have scored more touchdowns and would have won. Their pass blocking is terrible. We have a rookie on one side and who knows what on the other. The guards should be helping these guys out with their assignments, Johnson should be able to cover his man and take on both guard duties at the same time. If he cannot, cut him. For o-line coach, see Zimm reference above. The Cundiff problem has already been addressed in an above thread, no need to beat a dead horse. Next, the offensive play calling was just plain terrible. If Payton knew what he was doing, we would score a touchdown on every possession. If we do that, we would have won. And I am sure he runs the plays by Pacells before they get to Bledsoe. Both Payton & Parcells need to go. The punter is next. If McBriar cannot punt from our endzone and pin the oppsing team back on their one-yard line, who needs him. If he would have done that, we would have won. Oh wait a minute. If Payton would call the correct plays to score on every possession as mentioned above, we would not need a punter, so he would not even be on the team to begin with. Finally, the owner Mr. Jones himself needs to go for openning up his checkbook and bringing all these second rate coaches & players to our beloved Cowboys. Since you cannot fire the owner (majority stockholder) of the team, he needs to sell the team and move them to a better market like Helena, Montana. There, with all that said and done, don't be suprised if the Cowboys are a little flat our next game. It will take a little time for the trainers, waterboys, and Valley Ranch secretarial staff to learn their plays by game time, but they do have 10 days to prepare. I for one am looking forward to see what they have to offer over the scrubs we have now.

<sarcasm off>

I have one comment - "The immaculate reception"

The fact is that games are won and lost on a handful of plays......Just ask McNabb :- )
