Did you all see the ball on that FG attempt... that was the shiniest ball I have ever seen.

That should be deemed illegal and cheating.

Our awesome snapper didn't have a problem with it. If he did, he would have called on it.

It had more shine on it than any other ball that I have seen as well. But he still caught it and should have put it down.

Was it greased last week when he dropped it while running and no one touched him?

Like Parcells said, it was a good snap, he dropped it, period.

I was just about to start a thread about this very subject after reviewing the play. That ball was so shiny I could see my reflection in it!

NFL Primetime said the same thing.

Surprise surprise they had our side on that.

There was an article about the balls earlier this season.

Its the new commisioners fault. Wilson makes the footballs in early spring and made the Tagliabue signed balls. But the new commisioner wasn't named until the summer, so they made a new order. Wilson had to make them in the summer heat so now the new balls are slicker and the more you wipe them down the slicker they get. The eagles actually asked the league to use the Tagliabue balls instead and were denied.

It was TO's fault. He touched it before the play and his hands were full of butter from that popcorn.

I don't think so...TO dropped the ball so many times this year it rubbed off on Romo...hence the fumbles late in the season and the fumbled FG hold.

;) :p:

If the ball was wetter than usual, then it's our fault because I believe you are allowed to supply your own balls from your sideline when on offense and kicking or punting.

My conspiracy theory is a bit different.

Perhaps Tony Romo is the NFL's version of Pete Rose. How much money did he put on this game?
