That insides kick with 4 to go?

They should have done the same kick as the one right before it. I don't think that was an onsides kick. I think it was some kind of weird intermediate squib.

I was wondering if that was another analytics thing where I’m just unaware of the numbers. Seemed idiotic to me.

I think they thought we were still playing ATL.

They listened to the hoopla about how awesome that kick against ATL was, never mind that it took a huge gaffe by ATL for us to get it.

Special Teams and Defense are why we are 1-3.

The players and coaching decisions are pathetic.

We really had a chance if not for that dumb decision. There is zero justification for that. This is not debatable like the 2-point conversion topic because I'm sure the analytics don't tell you to try that there.

Bad decision...don't understand why that call at that moment. Kick it deep and force Mayfield and Sefanski to win a game with their nerves rattled, only up 3 with 4 minutes left.
exactly. i’m convinced this would have played out much differently if they just kicked it normally.
