That Jets loss is looking worse by the week

How obtuse must you be not to look at the Jets game and understand the injuries to the Cowboys, the Jets keeping extra blockers in, and Darnold having all day, as Dak was beaten like an ugly step chirld physically?

Don't tell me everyone one has injuries. Because injuries and the injuries Dallas had for that game, Coop, Cobb, Tyron, La'el were far to gutting of the Dallas offense.

If team that beat the Eagles were to actually play the Jets, they would have beaten them.

Not all games are the same. Or were you people complaining not around when Dallas played the Rams back in 1992, and at that time the Rams were the worst team in the league as Dallas was the best, went to St. Louis, and had their collective butts handed to them.

The ball is pointy on both ends and it doesn't always bounce like you think it should.

This is a ridiculous thread.
But the Cowboys team that beat the Eagles were playing an Eagles team that was about as injured as we were against the Jets so it goes both ways.

See how these two statements contradict each other? Stop making excuses for the Cowboys losing to a team that just got beat by the worst team in the league. An injured Cowboys team is better than a healthy Dolphins team, and the truth is they still have the same tendencies they've always had despite the change over in personnel.

You gut the offensive line and the passing game and you think the 9ers are playing in that situation?

Check those unbeatable Packers right now. They are getting their collective arses handed to them by the 3-5 Chargers.

What’s the Packers overall record right now? Their losing that game with most of their weapons back. So that loss is on another reason

That's not a contradiction. Because the team was relatively healthy and had both the receivers and line in place. Think what you want. If you feel good about crying about the loss, have a tissue.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaabaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaa……………A team intentionally tanking just whooped arse on the Jets.

Jets are going 1-15 and their only win will be against us:lmao2:

It's a loss. That's all.
Whether you lose to the Patriots, or to the Jets, it's a loss, no more, no less.
If they go 10-6, they're in the playoff.
In the long run, it doesn't matter who you beat, or to whom you lose.

so true the over focus on this one game is so ridiculous.. if we miss the playoffs it could be one of any of the losses not just the one.. jeez louise these fans just like to whine and complain hourly.. this is being revisited many times..beating a dead horse comes to mind..

fans forget weve been on the other end of these types of losses, a few seasons where we weren't good but beat 10-0 and 13-0 SB teams.. teams can lay an egg and move on..

in a division race the 2 point loss to the Saints will hurt tie breakers more and GB being in the nfc where teams weve beat beat them, that worse..one AFC loss doesnt weigh as much as the nfc losses but yes 2points on the road to the saints is harder to swallow IMO.. real football fans would know this..

MOVE ON!!!

we just lost to the freaking Jets.

The Jets.

I disagree. Resting players sends the message we can take it easy this game. That makes a HUGE difference. The Patriots NEVER send that message. This is why they win so many games, hold opponents scoreless etc.

We need a culture change.
I think he meant rest them after the game was well in hand.

It already has.

With SF, NO and GB rolling homefield advantage is probably no longer attainable past the Divisional round.

It 100% is not, and the best we can all hope for is a division title, a home game, then go on the road in round two against a very prepared and motivated team while our staff rolls out the same tired predictable stuff....we all know what the result will be.

I dont what happens week to week. This team will never get past the divisional round under Garrett.

Making things worse is theres Jerry's "reason to keep him." Heaven forbid we get a real coach in here who won't deal with Jerry wanting to run his mouth and be the face of the franchise.

Even if Garrett and Co one day wake up and decide to actually scheme and adjust, etc., there comes a time when his monotone nonsense get tuned out by players.

I totally agree!!
The loss to the Jets is about as bad as it can get. It would be one thing if the Cowboys just came off two wins by beating the Saints and Packers and had an emotional let down but they lost 2 in a row and should of been ready to stomp a mud hole in the jets. This idea that losses happen and comparing it to the Packers losing to the Chargers is insane. The Chargers are a pretty good team who hit a bad patch and have been known to beat good teams.
