Peppers doesn't run faster then a 4.7.

Whenever you have a great player, ignorant people always want to overexhaggerate (sp?) their speed.

Peppers is exceptionally athletic, but you don't have to be fast to be athletic. Randall Williams is one of the fastest players in the NFL (if he's even still in the NFL) but he's got the athleticism of a house.

while I agree with the premise Rack, Peppers is still hella fast for being 280, it's a thing of beauty watching him catch guys in the backside pursuit and taking fumbles and INTs to the house

I didn't say he was slow. He runs no faster then a 4.7. Period.

And a 4.7 is "hella" (where'd you dig that word up?) fast for a 280 lber.

I graduated from college in California a year ago and while I was there "hella" was a popular thing to say. I think it's a NorCal thing.

I think "hella" is a universal thing. Definitely nothing new, as a matter a fact it is some what played out in the south.
