JG is often ref'd as conservative

smart they went after the clock in OT

still going for 4-1 in OT takes heart, especially with a spotty OL, a great defense, and the NCFE at stake

I was actually proud of him - that's odd

going for the 62 yard FG rather than just hanging it up made sense too

I truly believe he Eagles were going right down the field with the next possession and my guess is Garrett felt that as well. The Cowboys had no answer for them in the 4th Q.

Yes I have to admit it as hard as I have been on Garrett his coaching is looking a bit better lately and with the playoffs coming its a good time for this to happen

They wouldn't have gotten the ball back, and Philly would have been pinned back with a crappy kicker.

It was the right move, but that was scary when Zeke looked stopped. He did great to reach for that first down.

I think they either realized they drafted EE, whicih most times i question, i personally think they feel they drafted someone else, or they wanted to lose and it all went wrong on JG

Kicking the FG was actually the higher percentage play than a Hail Mary. That took brains. But every existing script told JG to kick the FG in OT. The decision to go for it took guts.
