What was the official explanation? I could see it being ruled an uncatchable ball, but I assumed it was PI on Hitchens just like Aikman did.

I don't really care though, on balance the calls favored the Lions and we left with the victory.

Yep, I was supposed to watch the game with my church, I told em no, its probably better if I don't. Man, I was cussing up a storm the whole first half. Romo came through when we needed him, but he was pretty bad for most of the game, and some of that beating was on him. He was not reading the defense fast enough and not seeing the blitzes. On one second down blitz, Witten saw it and stepped 1 yard across the line and turned...Romo could have given him the pass and picked up 7-8 yards easy for a 3rd and short. Instead, he panicked and rolled away for a sack and 3rd and 19. He was really off mentally, and his passes were floating due to late decisions that resulted in poor mechanics. He was clearly outplayed by Stafford who was as good tonight as he sometimes is erratic.

But Romo was Romo when he had to be and led us to sweet victory.

The Cowboys overcame more mistakes, bad calls, and poor offense than I thought was possible. This team is capable of anything.

Romo stood in there and took a beating, but the offensive line adjusted and sucked it up. The defense played hard and came up big. I prefer a win like this over a blowout. Hopefully, we can build on this and go to GB and keep the party going.
