Here's a better view at the end of the video

Thanks. Some were making me start to doubt my eyes. It was a perfect pass out of reach of the defender. Now, the defender sticking out his hand may have disrupted Lamb's concentration, but the ball was exactly where it had to be.

I watched the game. To my "eye-test" it sure looked like Prescott had a very good game. What surprised me this morning is that he seems to have been given a 75.0 QBR.

70.7% completion
299 yards
3 TDs
0 INTs

How is that only a 75 QBR?
Absolutely do not care about these stats
Dak played great and we won

I think the defender touches it

Did you look at the end of the video in post #19? That angle is better and shows that he tried but missed.
Not sure but i have to think if thats not touched CD would have caught it but who knows

Great throw anyway

A lot goes through a player's head in an instance. I think Lamb was processing getting ready to react to a tipped ball and when it got through clean, he just wasn't ready for it. The trajectory of the throw doesn't change until it hits Lamb's hands. But I think the video in post 19 is more clear that the defender couldn't quite reach it to deflect it.

QBs either carry a team or get carried by the team.

Dak is finally carrying this team despite all the other BS. That’s what elite QBs do.
Dak is doing very well. The elite conversation happens when this is duplicated in January but for now, Dak looks pretty awesome.

Overall I can’t say he’s elite.

Right now though he is most definitely playing an elite brand of football. It’s clear and it’s much different then his normal empty calorie fools gold Stats Prescott brand.

Am I the only one who sees the deflection on this pass?
Probably....because after the game Ceedee talked about how good the pass was and that he was the only one who touched it, that he just needs to amp up his concentration, but he's happy Dak trusts him to throw balls like that even in tight double coverage.

Dak's three best throws of the season have all been dropped touchdowns.

TP20's drop was worse.

he had two drops. he also dropped a ball that hit him in the hands on a 4th down. as good as he is, we can't have these mistakes. great players make plays at most crucial times.
