You see a close lose, seven point loss, last second FG disappointment is not enough to wake up this big headed team. We needed a curb stomping.

And come to think of it i still dont know if this will be enough to wake this team up. In fact every winning season the cowboys have had during the last 25 plus years, they have given themselves the crap end of the stick.

Most of you guys the last six weeks have fell in love, talking about something is different about this team! There is nothing different but the days that pass!

I dont see how any of you can take this team serious the way you do with a straight face.

I used to post alot on this board but have dialed it back even when the cowboys have won their six games over the weeks, why? Because of situations like this and the fact that the ways of the cowboys will never leave them. They are who they are.

No matter the players or coaches that are bought in, they all stay the same. I would blame it on jerry but that has become soo cliche.

Something else is infecting this team within this organization and it seems to be incurable.

I think it is curable, and we will certainly see how this team responds. The players looked shocked and embarrassed. Maybe that will fix them? As you said, I hate losing, but this may have been for the best, especially with it being an AFC team.

Good lord. They came out flat on a 1pm game LIKE USUAL, with QB1 rusty.
Missed some catches missed some throws and took unnecessary chances.
They got smacked in the mouth.
It happens. To EVERY TEAM.
Next week at 1pm against Atlanta, we will truly know what kind of team this is.
Until then, tap your hate breaks.

Yes, it was a stomping. It may wake them up.

Do you watch the game? Do you even enjoy football? Do you follow the game or the Cowboys? Just checking.

Why how many times have we watch this team do the exact same thing and fall apart? I'm just going off of history

Did you know the 2020 SB champ bucs got stomped 38-3 in the regular season that game they had under 220 yds of total offense Brady had 3 int and 0 tds bucs had like 7yds rushing so any team can get beat bad hell the bills lost to the worst team in the lg yesterday Allen had 0 tds and 2 int it happens.

I tend to agree with the OP. A loss is a loss on the standings, but a butt kicking loss maybe will shake a few heads.

I wonder if Rush thought "damn it, I could have won that one".

:muttley:

Not saying we are the same team as them, but how many Bungles fans said the same after they lost to the Jets? All they did is go out and crap the bed against the Browns, and their once thought of defense looks vulnerable....we have to bounce back and make sure teams haven't figured us out, this weekend is our biggest game of the year and will show if have "it" or not

Rusty? You do realize Dak hadn't done much the whole offseason nor preseason right? And you call 3 weeks off rusty. You talk as if the guy had brand new players around him that he had to adjust to. Last i checked lamb and cooper wernt just signed to this team last week!

As for the rest of the team, they did boneheaded cowboy things just like i know they always can. I was not suprised at the denver loss one bit.

Sorry but we are not talking about a short term bucs trend, we are talking about a long term cowboys trend.

There is a difference.

Cool. Write them off. We’ll see you next fall.

Rush couldnt have won that, in fact it would have been an even worse loss than what it was if so. Dak is the man for the job when he and the rest of the team are not shooting themselves in the foot.

That giggling dog there was supposed to tell you that I wasn't so serious with that last remark.

Damn dog, do your job!

Its not about the giggling dog, its the fact that the cowboys were so bad that they are not worthy of sarcasm this week.

We can try the giggling dog again next week.

We won some close games that could have been losses....plenty of holes to fix. Let's see how we bounce back. This week will tell us a lot.
lost one that could have been win in Tampas so works both ways..

I wouldnt call a fan who criticizes their team disloyal. I would say they are a loyal, YET untoolish individual.

The blinders are the ones that set themselves up for befuddled disappointment.

To be honest, sarcasm is absolutely on time after this weekend. But not as far as the Cowboys are concerned, but as for all those "the sky is falling" Trolls go.

Yes they were bad, a lot worse than we could have imagined. So? Still just +1 on the L side of the standings. It's all about next week. If they win this one, the game against the Broncos was just the occasional slip on the banana peel. And just as funny.
