That's the difference between Bradford and Romo

The beauty of Philly's offense is it gives a lot of those open crossing routes over the middle. Easy throws for the QB to make. Bradford hit most of them tonight, just like Foles and Sanchez did before him. But just like Foles and Sanchez, Bradford hardly looks like a spectacular QB out there.

OBJ should warn them about going over the middle in Dallas.

One is really Damn good

The other isn't any good

And the mediots were annoiting Bradford and the Eagles based on preseason ....I think they regressed from last year.

...but today they are still talking about Eli's Sunday night mistake and how it's understandable. Not ONE time did I hear these talking heads sympathize with Tony during the Denver shoot out game or them pointing out how the lineman stepped on his foot on that INT. NOT ONCE.

It's not just North East Bias. It's anti "flyover country" bias, and Dallas is the only flyover country team with a record of success and all the attention the urbanite coasters crave (lol brawndo).

Is it just me, or does Bradford have a permanently scared expression on his face?

It's because he has no lips. Dude is nothing but teeth and a mouth hole. You know how you can dry out your lips and stick them to your teeth? That's him.

Oh but I could have swore that Howard guy got on his soap box and made it perfectly clear that Bradford was far and away the best QB in the NFC East?

LMAO!

I thought Bradford looked slow and lost in the first half, but in the 2nd he was outstanding with this decisions, quick-timing and accuracy on the short throws.

I am worried about the game this weekend, as Dinking and Dunking is a solid way to move the chains as long as your QB isn't mistake-prone (ahem, Kirk Cousins), and then they have Murray to run it in from the red-zone, and we all know he's fairly good at that.

I see Byron Jones having a bigger role in terms of covering TEs, WRs and RBs on the short throws. Also, they need to coach up the DL and LBs to get their hands up in the passing lanes.

The dude threw for over 300 yards and had a completion rate over 70%,,, and lost! sounds just like the games Romo had just a few short years ago.
The difference is that his YPA was only 6.46...and his completion percentage wasn't over 70, it was 69% lol

I think Bradford like many QB if given time is a good QB I think he lacks the ability to improvise when things start to break down. Romo on the other hand makes big plays when things start to break down and does a great job of extending the plays.

For most of the 2nd half Atlanta's D just sat there and watched the Eagles play pitch and catch, and were happy just tackling them after the ball was caught. It wasn't until crunch time when they dialed up some blitzes, banged Bradford around a bit, and won the game by doing so.

Bradford can dink and dunk all day but that will not get the birds very far

I must have watched a different game because after Bradford knocked off his rust and the O-line actually gave him some time to set, he was darn near perfect.

Don't get me wrong, I love to bash other teams, but I think the Eagles are more concerned with the poor blocking, bad defense and the underwhelming running game.
