Thats what a stud QB can do. Daniels is him

 :clap:Some can't talk straight football w/o consistently attacking Dak, Parsons or Jerry. Notice there are 50-55 others they say little or nothing about.
I can say that Quinn is clearly Coach of the Year and Daniels is hands down Rookie of the Year......and I don't have to mention a single person on the Cowboys......some things are self evident

I don't understand why he looked so bad versus us. He looked like garbage!

But vs. the league and he's the next Lamar Jackson!

Man, look at Dak compared to this guy and you see a slow, plodding, indecisive, weak-armed QB. It's like comparing Dowdle to Jahmyr Gibbs. We really need a new QB.

There's only one thing that would worry me about Daniels. He runs far too much. I don't know that he's this good if he doesn't. But hey, he may end up being the first rookie QB to get to the SB.

This will be his downfall........and even worse, he's built thin, unlike Hurts, thick like a RB.

We are not getting anyone new for another 5 years. They are going to keep this garbage going for as long as they can.
Our only hope is a Romo situation. Dak gets incapacitated for an extended period and a young guy (who we don't currently have on the roster) plays too good that Dak retires. That's all we've got.

We also need an OC that calls plays from this century.

Dak had a better rookie season than Jayden Daniels did. Dak also would have AT LEAST led the Cowboys to the NFC Championship Game if the crooked refs had not helped out Aaron Rodgers and the Packers during that divisional playoff game 9 years ago. How quickly y'all forget.

Yet, here you are backstabbing our own while kissing up to another team's rookie QB?

Do everyone a favor and go follow the Commanders! The Cowboys and real Cowboys fans won't miss you.
I'd suggest they go examine Goff and Herbert in the last 2 weeks or ask Micah and Diggs about their top QBs.

Again I caution do not anoints anyone so quickly. I admit Daniels looks like the real deal. He is poised in the pocket, he does not rattle, He is smart and his as as accurate with the deep ball as I have seen in a long time. He looks like he is going to be a problem for NFL teams for a long time. If the Commanders continue to build a strong roster, they will be tough to beat.

With the Eagles and Commanders both improving and becoming dominant teams, it means it will be harder for the Cowboys to make the playoffs. Jerry will not keep up with the division if he continues to overpays 3 or 4 players and skimp on the rest of the roster - especially without a coach who is a serious leader.

But, I need to see Daniels at least play another year the way he played this year. I suspect he will continue to be as good as he has been, but we need to see it. CJ Stroud took a step back after all the accolades last year, we could see the same from Daniels next year.

My concern about Daniels is his stature. He is not a big guy and he runs a lot. So far he has been able to avoid the big hits most of the time, but this is the NFL and players are going to get their shots in from time to time. Can Daniels survive all those hits without injury? He ran 16 times against Tampa Bay and 16 times against the Lions. That's a lot for a QB. But it is an important aspect of his game. If he continues to run that much, how long with he last? RBs have shorter careers than other players for a reason.

They definitely don't want to see him go the way of RG Knee......so much promise followed by career killing injuries

Ooops.....Jordan Love wet the bed too. Can't leave out another highly paid QB.

I didn't even want to bring that up. He's young now, he might get away with it for a time. He doesn't have to stop altogether, but cut it back like Jackson and Allen did. They're built better too.

When he gets more offensive support his " recklessness " will lessen.

Like you said, Lamar's running is more targeted and designed......but Josh Allen doesn't have the weapons Lamar has so I believe he's still putting his body in harms way more than the team would like

He tied those losers Romo and Dak in playoff wins his first season.

And made it further than either ever will.

QBs matter.
This is just a slap in the faces of all those Daksters.

The QB is and always will be the most important position. He can make up for a lot of other less well stacked skill positions.

Yes it's a team game, and you need your o line working. But in the end it all starts with the right QB.

And right there is the actual problem!
Don’t blame Romo or Dak.
Blame the guy who can’t build a truly competitive team in the 21st century.
No QB wins it all on his own.
Nah.

I blame Romo and Dak for being loser QBs.

If Synder still owned Washington and drafted Daniels they would still be good. Daniels changed things in Washington.

QBs can change your franchise overnight. Dallas hasn't drafted one in the 1st round since 1989.

You win with super star QB play.
You can't find your QB in the MLB, 4th round, undrafted and so on. It can happen, but not likely.
A 1st round bust QB is not your future either.
When drafting a QB, you need to look at size, throwing power, accuracy, smartness, and if they can run, they will own the NFL.
You will find those type of QBs in the first round. You can find them in other rounds, but it's like playing the slots, you'll just get lucky if you do, but you significantly improve your odds if you draft a 1st round stud like with the skills I mentioned above.

Now there is a QB like that coming out next year and his name is Arch Manning. To get him you will need to trade Micah Parsons for draft capital, you will need to tank next year and I'm not shi****g around. Don't win even one game. Our fans will be upset, but who cares when you've not won anything in nearly 30 years... they will be smiling when we get a super stud QB, and we could literally go to the NFC championship game the following season with him. But this will never happen because we have Jerry Jones as our owner.
He won’t come out until 2027
