I hate what's happening to uniforms, especially in college. I can't tell who I'm watching anymore, and it steals from the heritage of the game. It's such a rare treat when Alabama and LSU plays because they look like who they are.

Same with the NFL. The throwback stuff has gotten out of hand, and we're left with this foolishness.....

Then, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, and Miami went and screwed up their uniforms. AND THEY WONDER WHY THEIR TEAMS IN THAT STATE ARE SO BAD AND NOBODY GOES.

Classic uniforms make the game so much more authentic.

Why does that picture of Beasely getting his head ripped off make me laugh? Poor guy, that looks painful. How did the Refs miss that? But yeah, there are some ugly uniforms in the NFL. I think the plain looking uniforms are much better than the comic book looking costumes that other teams wear.

Seriously though, it doesn't bother me so much. It sucks that it irks you, since it clearly is taking away from your enjoyment of the game.

I don't mind the throwbacks, and some of the "color rush" uni's are actually kinda sharp (ours, for example. And not just saying that cuz I'm a Cowboys fan). Some of them are kinda ugly/corny, but then again I'd probably say the same thing about certain teams' uni's from every era.

To each their own I suppose.

Yeah but I kind of agree with him on this one though. The Cowboys, Packers, Steelers, and Raiders will never change their unis. Or at least make broad changes to their unis.

Sometimes uniforms change for the better. Sometimes they don't.

Denver's uniforms are definitely better now than they were in the 1980s. Same with the Giants though I like their Parcells-era look as well.

My issue is the sheer number of uniforms per team. They have variants and throw backs and color rush. Some have an all black variant. I really don't get that.
