Does anyone else think that that stat was the most unbelievable stat in Dallas Cowboy history??

Until last night, we had NEVER lost a game when leading by 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter? Are you kidding me? That seems impossible.

We must have been the only team in the NFL with that stat.

Its really unbelievable.

It's not that unbelievable, and I'm sure that other teams have the same stat.

Since we've been in the league, there are EIGHT franchises that have never lost a game when leading by 14 points or more at the *start* of the fourth quarter -- the Steelers (159 games), Cowboys (152 games), Chiefs (144), Patriots (139), Broncos (126), Titans (122), Jaguars (37) and Panthers (34).

Theoretically, you're less likely to lose after leading by less than 14 points at the start of the quarter and then scoring to lead by 14 or more (like we did last night), because there would inherently be less time for the opponent to come back. So, given the eight teams listed above, I'm sure that there are several that have never lost after leading by 14 or more at any point in the fourth quarter.
