maybe beal & wall could wind becoming the next great backcourt duo.
Oh, I surely hope so... I'm quite optimistic about the moves the Wizards have made the past few months... as the announcers said on ESPN, for some time now my Wiz have been Knucklehead Central... they had a few good ballplayers with rotten 'tudes-- Andray Blatche, Javale McGee and Nick Young...
Well, Young and McGee are gone, and Blatche is likely to be sent packing as the Wizards take advantage of the amnesty provision... in their place the team has added Nene, Emeka Okafor, Trevor Ariza and now Bradley Beal...
One thing all four have in common is defense-- they all play it, and play it well... the Wizards should be a better rebounding team too, even Beal averaged almost 7 rebounds a game at Florida this past season (at 6-4)...
After adding Okafor and Ariza, what the Wizards needed most was some offense, especially perimeter offense... that's Beal, for sure... if he can start knocking down those kickouts from Wall, it will open the floor up for the NBA's fastest point guard...
Now, I'm really curious as to what the team will do with pick 32... I think I'd look to add even more perimeter offense... one thing I've just noticed, as things stand right now the Wizards don't have a single 7 footer on the roster...
On an unrelated note, I'll wager that Perry Jones is real happy to be selected by the Thunder...
