Let's get the elephant in the room out of the way quickly.. Who will we resign?
The answer is simple. All of them. I don't know how the math works out, but I am certain that Beasley, Harris, McClain, DeMarco, Free and Dez all get new deals of some standard. Brandon Carr will likely be a June 1 cut.
So, if that ridiculously complicated scenario I've glanced over up top happens, well, what would the Cowboys look like?
Bruce Carter can likely be had on a team friendly deal, after all, what has the man done? Well, he's proven to be a talented backup imo. We can sign him on the cheap.

Rolando McClain is a stud Middle Linebacker, he needs to be signed, and again, for around a million. He is such a big-bodied presence against the run, there is really just no understating how stout our defense would be with McClain returning paired with Lee.
