The draft picks for this year is finished and the picks are all in. Now in a few short months beginning in August we will have a feel for what the Cowboys have. I must say the team has a recent history of really good overall drafts. I think the scouting guys and coaches do a really good job putting things together. I get the feeling that Jones & Son have little to do with all that. Appears to me they are aware of what is transpiring and feed the media with comments to get attention but leave the selections to the coaches and scouts. I wish the Cowboys were better at the other phases of managing the team.
I suspect writers and "draft experts" are already working on the 2023 draft. I would not be surprised if there is not a 2023 mock out there somewhere. I get really tired of that stuff. But that is just me. A lot of fans must enjoy it because it is ongoing all year long. No one really knows what is going to happen until draft day and then no one really knows how the draftees will perform until at least a few weeks into training camp. Here is wishing the best for the team and all the incoming talent.
