anyone heard of it? it's the workout the actors used to prepare for the 300 movie, I tried to do the ab workout just now and that's pretty intense, supposed to do 50 reps and I only got to 20

I read the article about Gerard Butler in Men's Health Magazine. Crazy workout, but not a good one to take on unless you are already in good shape. The work-out plus the physical requirements of the movie took it's toll on him:

at some point along the way, he became overtrained, a state in which the stress of training has surpassed the body's ability to recover fully from it. (*4) As a result, once filming wrapped, Butler stopped working out as abruptly as he'd started

Butler laid off of training for almost a year afterwards. Too intense for the average schmoe, I guess. Make sure to update me on how it works out for you. I've thought about trying it, but I haven't been able to dedicate the effort (two little attention grabbing young-uns keep my work-outs to about twenty minutes a day).
