All jokes aside. We’ll see where we’re at with Dak next week. This whole week I have been dogging Dak saying we shouldn’t extend him and saying Trey or another young QB is the future. A win next week, or even a competitive game by Prescott, would go a long way to changing my mind. Well changing a lot of people’s minds. Mainly his critics. Obviously my opinion is not important but playing well against the 49ers would be a big confidence boost for our offense. Notice I didn’t say “win” because I don’t think we’ll win. I don’t think we’ll win because we’ve been beat up by the injury bug and SF hasn’t. They’ll get their share of injuries by the time the playoffs come.

But Dak has not played well against the big boys and him playing well would go a long way. So I hope him being “pissed” equates great play.

That means you he will actually score more than 50% of his red zone chances?

A good game this week means a bad game the next when it comes to Dak.

Also, his words lost their value a long time ago.

Seems the 49ers are winning wars of attrition...wearing their opponents down in the second halves of games.

We'll see if Dallas is up for a heavyweight slug-fest next week. If so, they'll be the first team this year.
