Raiders, Eagles, Gmen, Vikings & Bears should be W's if we play up to potential, T. Romo stays healthy.
The Commanders is another winnable game, but that will be a really tough one (the raiders, will be tough as well)
Dallas Defense will have to be up to the task to win the other two games against NO & GB.

After seeing that schedule, I see 2 losses possibly 3. So it should be 10-6 or 9-7

Saints is a loss and the Packers. And maybe the Bears but this team should finish at 9-7. If they don't then that means Romo gets to start behind Center for the 10th season in a row after the team has missed the playoffs 3 straight years while he was the starter.

Romo's only been a starter since the 2006 season.

I do think Vikings game is very important after last weeks loss to the Lions. We need the win over the Vikings to jump start the team back into gear.

Seems to me if we beat Minnesota, Oakland and go 2-1 against the east that should be enough to win the division.

If they somehow beat the Saints after winning tomorrow then that should be a wrap because the eagles will be 3-7 in 2 weeks with losses to Oakland and Green Bay

I would think that too. Cowboys would be 7-9 but own the head-to-head tiebreaker over every single NFC East rival.

The Eagles would have to go 5-2 over their remaining non-Cowboys games in order to overtake the Cowboys.
.
The Commanders would have to go 6-2 over their remaining non-Cowboys games in order to overtake the Cowboys.

The Giants would have to go 6-1 over their remaining non-Cowboys games in order to overtake the Cowboys.

Good info Dragon. Beating these division sissies head2head not only gives us the tiebreaker but puts another guaranteed loss on their record and another three notches in our holster.

which is why I will pop a blood vessel if we lose to the Vikings at home tomorrow

If the Cowboys lose to both the Saints and the Packers AND get bounced out of the 1st round of the playoffs, that this season is a failure.

They need to show us that they can actually beat a winning team. If not, then is season ends up being an anomaly where the Cowboys made playoffs due to the sucky nature of the NFC East -- ala the Seahawks of 2010 who made it to the playoffs at 7-9. It was more of a joke than anything.

Someone's probably going to say, "The most important game is the next one on the schedule," but that's one of those sayings that sounds good but isn't true. Some games are, objectively speaking, more important than others.

Here are the remaining 8 games on the schedule, ranked by importance:

1. Cowboys vs. Eagles.
Why it's the most important:

Divisional rival + division record + the fact that the Eagles are 3-5, the NFC East rival nearest to the Cowboys right now in win-loss standings.

2. Cowboys vs. Commanders.
Why it's important:

Divisional rival + division record + the fact that the Commanders are 2-5, the next NFC East rival below the Eagles in win-loss standings.

3. Cowboys vs. Giants.
Why it's important:

Divisional rival + division record.

4. Cowboys vs. Packers.
Why it's important:
Common opponent of all NFC East teams + the Packers are an NFC team + they have a better win-loss record than the Bears at the moment.

5. Cowboys vs. Bears.

Why it's important:
Common opponent of all NFC East teams + the Bears are an NFC team + they have a better win-loss record than the Vikings at the moment.

6. Cowboys vs. Vikings.
Why it's important:
Common opponent of all NFC East teams + the Vikings are an NFC team.

7. Cowboys vs. Raiders.
Why it's important:
Common opponent of all NFC East teams.

8. Cowboys vs. Saints.
Why it's the least important:

It may seem odd that a game against the Saints (an NFC team) is less important than a game against the Raiders (an AFC team,) but that is because the Raiders are a common opponent of all NFC East teams, while the Cowboys are the only NFC East team that will play the Saints this regular season.

Bottom line, if we cant win 6 or more of those, we probably wont make it to the playoffs. Just win as many as you can and hope its enough. We are not a dominate team by any measure, have to put all our eggs in the luck basket and trust in fate. .

Since that Packers game is not at Lambeau it's a winnable game

Actually all games are winnable if the right team shows up. Equally all games are losable depending on which team shows up. This Cowboy team is Jekyl and Hyde.

Actually, if the Cowboys win "just" 5 of the remaining eight games, including two more division wins, they would almost certainly win the division. It would require a tremendously strong performance by the Eagles, Giants or Commanders to overtake Dallas in such a scenario.

I'm confident the eagles game on 12/29 won't matter
