Lets say Dan Snynder calls Jerry and offers his 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th round picks for the Cowboys 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th round picks, does Jerry do it? Is it legal? And how much fun would that be?

It's legal, it's fun, but no one would do it.

I used to do this back in the day playing Madden. Wait till week 5 (last week before the trade deadline) and see who had the worst record in the league, then trade them your picks for their picks.

I would end up with all top 10 picks every freakin season even though my team would go deep into the playoffs every year.

I have no idea if the newer versions of Madden ever fixed this, but it worked like a charm back in the day. You could virtually rape the computer teams when it came to draft picks, I would trade 35yr old vets for 1st rounders knowing they were going to retire.

Has anybody played the 2010 version and if so, how is the franchise mode???

Didn't your grade school teacher ever tell you? There's no such thing as a dumb question. :)

It's only about the 4th or 5th dumbest thread title question on the front page, so being #8 overall is a bit optimistic.

The Patriots regularly do a modified version of this, except they end up with two 1st round draft picks, not just one.

Yet in their last four drafts they've got a total of 3 starters, one of which is a kicker.:lmao:

Its basically the same thing with a few slight changes. I do like now how they have a highlight show after the week is over. The players always advance the ratings more after a season. Rookies ratings with good potential rise fast and older veterans see their rating fall.
