Is that the way it's going, we may end up looking at the Ravens/Steelers/Cardinals/Eagles being the final four teams.

All teams that handed us our key losses down the stretch.

In the warped mind of Jerry Jones, this will only further hammer home the point that "continuity" is what we need because hey, the only thing keeping us out of the playoffs was the fact that we lost to the "final four" of the NFL.

Sad thing is, if this was a well-coached team, it would have easily won any four of those games.

Last year: Highest rated SB ever

This year: SD vs Arizona.....lowest rated SB ever

Yes, or if Eagles too: The ultimate NFL parity, a 9 win team versus an 8 win team. What is this becoming? the NHL?

The only team that clearly out played us was the Eagles. We SHOULD have won the Pitt game. We COULD have won the Ravens game. I didn't get to watch any of the Cards game besides the last drive and the OT block, so I'll withhold judgement.

To me what is most disappointing is that we could have beat any team in the playoffs. But we have to stop beating ourself first.

Seriously. If we wanna go that route then you might as well have 8 teams make it from each conference.

The Patriots might agree with that this year.

the NFL would never allow that to happen.......prepare to watch the Chargers get raped by the refs on national TV Sunday

How did I defend him? By saying we have to stop beating ourselves?

I'd love to hear the argument that we dont beat ourselves

In a few weeks we could potentially be watching a Superbowl between the Baltimore Ravens, a team left for the celler of the AFC 4 months ago, and the Arizona Cardinals, a team who just doubled their all-time postseason win total in a matter of two weeks. There isnt a football fan in America who would have predicted this matchup even as of earlier today, let alone before the season started

The Cardinals. The Arizona Cardinals are in the NFC Title game. It just doesnt sound right. It sounds downright wrong, in fact. I grew up with the Cardinals as the NFC's personal whipping post. Having a bad stretch? No problem, just wait for the Cardinals to show up on your schedule.

hahah I told someone at work the other day its going to be an SD vs. AZ superbowl and he laughed...we're getting closer by the minute after today. Crazy. Man despite Delhomme being a turnover machine...the carolina D had no answer for most of the AZ offense.

Of course they are going to get raped, they are playing the Steelers!!!!

The NFL already handed the Steelers #5, so I would not be surprised at all if the NFL handed the Steelers #6.

Said, but true.:(

The Cards were practically begging for us to kick their hides. But we couldn't do it.

Pathetic.

I see nothing wrong with that scenerio except for the Steelers.

Every team I've pulled for has won so far...shocking. I'm pulling for the Eagles today because I'd rather see the Cardinals or Eagles get their first championship or at least a trip to the SB than see the Giants there.

I'm also pulling for SD and the Ravens.

It think this has been a perfect playoff season because the regular winners, and the predictable winners, have been losing.

The Cardinals were an up and down team, much like the Cowboys, but I'm enjoying seeing them play the way they played against us...big plays by Fitzgerald and a tough tough defense.

Or maybe Jerry is right and we aren't that far away.

Why some people want to take a wrecking ball to this team is beyond me.

I think this is gonna play out to be true. I'll be shocked if Pittsburgh is called for anything today.

Honestly I hope the season ending super bowl is financial disaster for the NFL. The way the league has allowed bad officiating to be an almost game by game example, some of the discipline decisions etc etc, its pathetic. Goodell keeps talking about the integrity of the lague, yet I've never seen a season that so mimmics the WWF or NBA in all my years of wtahcing it.

Because they think one bad season means that this team will not improve and only worsen over time.

That thinking is so flawed that it's beyond laughable. Ok maybe not :lmao2:

Nah, why give any logical arguments? Just blame everything on Coaches, since getting rid of them easy.Clearly, last 13 years, Cowboys have shown, changing coaches, automatically leads to better players and more wins for Cowboys.
