I'm going to completely ignore the offensive and defensive lines, just to spite the "we don't need more skill players" crowd. :)

In this scenario, we trade pick 14 to New England for their picks at 27 and 31.

Round 1 (from NE): Coby Fleener, TE Stanford

He's a 6'6" beast with sub 4.5 speed and a 37" vertical. Averaged nearly 20 yards per catch and scored 10 touchdowns in 2011. Granted, he was catching passes from the best QB in the draft, but his upside is undeniable.

Round 1 (from NE): Janoris Jenkins, CB North Alabama

Possibly the best cover corner in the draft. Jerry will overlook his character issues.

Round 2: Bruce Irvin, OLB West Virginia

Extremely athletic edge rusher. Lacks the bulk to be an every down LB from day one. Outstanding explosiveness and first step.

Round 3: A.J. Jenkins, WR Illinois

Very similar to Johnny Knox. Runs great routes and is a proven force on special teams. Could be a good insurance policy for when Austin suffers his annual hamstring injury.

Round 4: Josh Norman, CB Coastal Carolina

Ball hawk with good size and instincts. Caught 6 interceptions at the practices before the East-West Shrine Game. Doesn't have elite straight line speed. I'm thinking that we convert him to safety (he has experience at that position).

Round 5: Bernard Pierce, RB Temple

Extremely productive player with quick feet and good lateral agility. 27 touchdowns in 2011. Averaged 5.4 ypc over a three year period. Tall for an RB and has durability issues. Could be a good insurance policy for when Felix suffers his annual hamstring/shoulder injury.

Round 5 (compensatory pick): Nick Foles, QB Arizona

Foles is going to fall a long way because of the idiot scouts who only care about 40 times. Personally, I think Foles should wear his 40 time as a badge of honor. I don't trust quarterbacks who can run.

Unfortunately, he has no chance of playing for the Cowboys because we signed another mediocre, washed-up veteran QB.

Round 6: Emmanuel Acho, ILB Texas

Productive tackler with decent cover skills.

Round 7: Damaris Johnson, RS/WR Tulsa

He's an idiot who was dismissed from Tulsa after being charged with felony embezzlement. He also has the most kick return yards in NCAA history and has the NCAA record for career all-purpose yards. The ultimate Jerry project.

Blasphemy, no OL or DL, may you step on a stone in bare feet! This is the JJ way that has been keeping us from the Super Bowl for 15 years. I do like the list for the players but it spells the end of Romo’s career from concussions. Let’s stick with saving our QB and getting after the other teams QB. :)
