I'm all aboard with this show too, very intriguing. I always get a kick out of all their disguises.
Very interested in where the Martha storyline goes.

I'm guessing she isn't long for this world. Things are kinda closing in around her and at some point, the risk of having her around just won't be worth it.

Even though it had the least action of any episode this season, I liked the one with the old lady best.
"That's what evil people say when they're about to do evil things."
Plus the old lady's husbands' name was Gil. ;)

That was deep. Dark. Evil.

Gil!!!!! Lol

Yeah. That pen is her undoing.

We don't have a thread dedicated to this amazing show. So, here it is.

Anyone else watching? This is in the running for best show on TV. It's too bad it gets such crap ratings, but they renewed it for season 4 and supposedly the head of FX is all aboard until the end as long as it keeps winning awards.

Yes, it's a good show.

It's thought provoking in terms of the real life issues of being those types of people.

They are brutal cold blooded killers and family people at the same time.

It's funny how they are friends with Stan the FBI guy and how inept the FBI has been in terms of Martha being fake married to Spy.

the FBI was pretty much inept as regards catching russian spies in the real world so why change history?

spies are a lot like the Mafia. They can love their children and still committ murder without any qualms at all. There are a lot of people like that in this world; contrary to what a lot would like to believe.

It's one thing to not catch them, but for the secretary to be the problem is sad.

Indeed. Thought provoking.
Double life to the max.

Well, the old Martha lover stumbled across Philip. If he lived then that could have developed.

Well, Philip revealed himself to Martha. What does that mean for her?

I'm guessing that means she's a goner. I feel really bad for her. I didn't used to find her all that sympathetic of a character, but her talking to her parents and being able to basically say nothing. Her giving up her entire life for a guy that lied to her from the very beginning? That's tough. And now, she's probably going to die for it.

Just saw that episode.
She basically said goodbye to her parents.
Philip tried to get her to buy into the "I'll fix this... I promise"... His,,"I'm your husband.... I love you" was very unconvincing. Martha ain't buying no more. She knows she's been had.

I do believe this is an "off screen" kill.

1. She is probably dead.

2. He can't even try to convert her. He has a real wife lol

Well... Looks like he revealed himself, killed computer boy and saved Martha.
Not sure what that does. They are still at risk.

Daughter spills the beans to preacher.

But no worries, I think he is on their team anyway.

Yeah. I wasn't sure when I first heard that theory about the preacher guy, but I think I'm leaning that way now as well.

On the other hand, how much did she actually tell him? She said they were Russians, but at least in the conversation shown, she didn't come out and say they were spies or anything. It'll be interesting to see. If she did spill the beans, she's going to learn very quickly what happens to people who know something that they shouldn't know.

It screamed of "spies" when she said it.

Remember, Philip already had his confrontation with preacher. Preacher was cool.
I think it was very telling. I think. Preacher is part of he centers plan or the plan from back home from mother Russia. There's a reason they keep talking about what happened with other family.

What better way? Get her trust and groom her without forcing it down her throat.

If they had to... That could have been series finale. The end!!
