Why do the Cowboys struggle with winning on the road and against teams with winning records?
The answer is two fold but also intertwined. The cowboys win when they take the ball away from the opponent’s offense. Some of those turnovers resulted in touchdown scores for the Pokes. We got a bunch at the beginning of the season not many lately.
Dak is a front runner. Give him a lead and he gets very comfortable. Make him work from behind and he reverts to bad Dack. You can see it in his eyes. Now there is a third component. Opponents hold Micah on almost every play. Only two holding calls against those holds. This has significantly reduced the number of sacks to help our offense. I think the in look y sack we got in Buffalo was from Mazi. That should tell us what is going on. Same for Armstrong, Fowler, and Williams. When was the last time you heard their names called?
Lastly, the NFL now endorses gambling and yet refs earn meager salaries compared to players and coaches. Consider the possibilities!

Well, you threw out several theories/postulations and some facts but made no real point. Nothing you said is earth shattering.

Are you saying most of the refs in the league are on the take? What about the DL ???? Whatcha sayin' Vern? Clarity pls.

I mean.. its been clear to people who arent blinded by their homerism, Dak has been the main issues in big games and games against good teams on the road. its all mental with him. he has the ability but freezes in big moments in big games.

If they knew it was ok to tackle linebackers, they would a lot better on the road.

Dak is a bad NFL QB. It has nothing to do with leads or playing from behind.

We have the lead most of the time because we play against bad defenses. Then Dak looks like a good QB.
When we trail its most of the time because we play better defenses. That makes you think Dak does not have a good day. But he is the same player and plays on the same level he does all year.

Our defense is build for a lead. Then our pass rushers can do their work. We have 90% passrushers on the DL/LB spots.
If we play catchup and the other team can control the clock with their running game because our offense doesnt score points the weakness of our defense shows up. Most of the time we have 1 real LB on the field and only passrushing specialists on the DL. Our defense is way to light for playing hard nosed football with other offenses. And most players lack the mentality to hold their ground. They are attackers.

If the offense cant threaten other teams on a constant basis we are doomed. Thats what you get with DQ. Live with it or let him go.

Dont misunderstand me. I think this defense is ok as long as it has the right offense.
So if you want to keep Qinn the only solution is to get a QB who actually knows how to play football.

Lol, a bad NFl qb? How can we read what you say when you put that ridiculous comment at the beginning?

I think the refs control the game for vegas!
Finally something that makes sense ever notice how the refs are protected no one can say anything about them they never have to answer any questions at a press conference about any of the calls that they've messed up. Or calls that they have failed to make they're just protected like little children because they are the tool that someone uses to make money

Need to have a good run game on the road to neutralize the crowd noise and keep our defense fresh. Noise makes pre snap calls and motions more difficult and throws off timing more often.

Offenses thrive at home so our opponents are more likely to sustain long drives at home making our defense more tired. That's why being able to play ball control on the road is so important. It's simple.

My opinion, it's should be no different than playing at home. Most of the times there's a great number of Cowboys fans in the stands even on the road.

You mean like in Miami when he drove the team down the field for a TD to take the lead late in the 4th Q?

They try to do what is best for the league to make the most money. There is a decent chance that they will make some calls to help Dallas this week and next.

That's the part where we can "blame" dak.

He simply orchestrate longer offensive drives and some opening scoring. As the QB and proclaimed "leader"...it's more on him than any seldom used rookie FB.

Come on Dak...help our defense.

Even with the holding , Micah has 13 sacks. So the problem with pass rush isn’t there. The teams we struggle with are the teams that committ to running the ball. Arizona , SF , Buffalo all gashed this defense. We fall down against physical teams.

How does "controlling the game" make the NFL the most money?

Vegas and NFL in cahoots? How does that work?

For the 15th time over the past three (3) weeks, its because we are playing the better teams in the NFL on the road over the last two (2) years versus the cupcakes we have played at home....its just a true reflection of their actual ability.

A key call or non call totally turns the game around. Like the non call when the Dolphins tackled our linebacker. They make the obvious call and Miami would end up with a long field goal attempt and Dallas would have time to get the ball with a chance to win.

It's not Vegas. It's tv revenue and keeping fans of all teams interested. I would think that the league would like Detroit to win their division which they have and would like Dallas to win this week and stay in the division race.

So by your reckoning, the league is out for the Cowboys because the NFL makes more from the haters than the real fans.

Hmmm...okay.

I bet they'd make a lot of money with the cowboys winning too.
