Mods, tha post is blasphemy!

He (I assume) is using the names of Brady (7 Super Bowl wins) and Dak (2-4 in playoffs) in the same post.

Me forum brothers, light a prayer candle and recite a novena to get us over this blasphemy!
Go troll someone else you pompous tally-whacker. Since you know nothing about the game of football, stick with things you know, like jump rope and red rover.

Since you didn't understand the point I was trying to make, you're not the smart person you think you are.

Oh, my. Angry, aren't you? Or too prickly, good fellow.
But listen, 80s rocker, don't ruffle your feathers over trivia. You gotta admit, Brady/Dak :muttley:

If you really believe that, why would you watch it?
Not saying football is or isn’t rigged, but wrestling is totally fixed and many of us love it. It’s entertaining as hell. So is football, fixed or not.

Dak is a bad NFL QB. It has nothing to do with leads or playing from behind.

We have the lead most of the time because we play against bad defenses. Then Dak looks like a good QB.
When we trail its most of the time because we play better defenses. That makes you think Dak does not have a good day. But he is the same player and plays on the same level he does all year.

Our defense is build for a lead. Then our pass rushers can do their work. We have 90% passrushers on the DL/LB spots.
If we play catchup and the other team can control the clock with their running game because our offense doesnt score points the weakness of our defense shows up. Most of the time we have 1 real LB on the field and only passrushing specialists on the DL. Our defense is way to light for playing hard nosed football with other offenses. And most players lack the mentality to hold their ground. They are attackers.

If the offense cant threaten other teams on a constant basis we are doomed. Thats what you get with DQ. Live with it or let him go.

Dont misunderstand me. I think this defense is ok as long as it has the right offense.
So if you want to keep Qinn the only solution is to get a QB who actually knows how to play football.
Totally Agree! What people just don't seem to realize about the QB position is everybody has a breaking point where they succumb to the pressure. Even Brady!
Daks breaking point is low. It really doesn't take much for his game to turn bad. That's where pedigree comes into play. Your team can be in a tough game and your QB with pedigree can struggle but he is capable of turning things around under pressure. And when that happens he makes his teammates around him play harder by inspiring them with his play. Dak inspires no one and when things go bad they stay bad for 2 and 3 quarters if not the whole game. The Cowboys won't win anything until they get the next Joe Burrow.

When it comes down to it there are only three issues that hold this team back:
1. Dakota Prescott
2. Mike McCarthy
3. Weak defense against the run

Dak Prescott...nice guy, decent guy, highly overrated as a quarterback and leader. He plays well at home, with a lead. He symbolizes the Cowboys in general. No killer instinct. The team plays finesse in a league that values Punch You in the Face football. We have two players that fit that description, Ferguson and Bass. That is it. Those two have the mentality that a winner has. The former is a good tight end (not great, but maybe in the future), Bass is playing above his very limited athletic ability but he does have a nasty streak. No one else, except for Martin. He is a fine lineman but he does not have a mawler's mentality. t

McCarthy is clueless when it comes to managing a game. He has zero clue about clock management and he routinely misses opportunities to use the red flag to review plays. A fumble recently by our opponents went unchallenged, even after the offense was running as fast at they could to get a play off before a red flag challenge, which never came. Clearly a fumble, recovered by Dallas, incorrectly called, down by contact. Never reviewed because McCarthy or his assistants are not watching the game with any kind of focus.

Our defense is all about pass rushing. Our defensive line can and does get steamrolled by opposing offenses. They get pushed around like a bunch of mops. The tush push against this defense renders big gains as does running through the middle of the defense. Please don't say everything is OK when Hankins gets back. He is the only run stuffer on the entire roster. Every other interior lineman plays soft. Mazi is a huge dissapointment. Hopefully he gets better a year or two down the road. Right now he is overmatched and slow off the ball.

This team will win one game in the playoffs and then bow out.
