It isn't the endzone celebrations or the "accidental overdoses," it's that big smile that T.O. puts on for the media whenever he's having a good day.
As much as it's news for T.O. to go insane, it's news for him to settle down and be normal. On ESPN, when you didn't hear anything from T.O., it was a huge deal. It must mean he's happy, they said. It must mean the Cowboys are winning, they said.
Does that tell you something?
That we're completely obsessed with the guy. You don't have to apologize for "talking" about T.O., it's unavoidable. And it's for that very reason I am sympathetic towards the guy. We do cast him in a completely different light - for every player that spits in the face of another player, is ten players that kick a lineman when he's on the ground after a play is over (albiet spitting is a little extreme).
We should do as we say we're going to do - which is just leave T.O. alone.
His antics (and lack of antics) definitely get blown up much more than anyone else's in the league.
Lets talk about his NFL leading 11 touchdowns, 1000 yard season and 15 dropped passes.
We just don't need another 200 articles about T.O. spitting in DeAngelo Hall's face during a game.
But you know as well as I do that it isn't gonna happen.
I mean, look at my own article. It isn't about anything except T.O.
