It's our home opener.

A team that should be 1-0 versus a team that should be 0-1.

I think we roll them.

Does it take the sting out of this loss? Maybe not so much but Sunday noon CST cannot come soon enough for me.

I'll feel better about this loss if we're 4-1 a month from now.

Does it really matter?

Yeah, let's go out and beat a bad football team and make everyone forget the deep seeded problems within our organization for another week. Then what happens when we get beat by Houston for the same reasons we did tonight, then beat Tennessee after the bye week to keep it afloat? We always do jsut enough to keep these clowns around. In the end we might do just enbough to make it into the playoffs only to flame out to more disciplined teams

It's really, really tough to get excited for Cowboys football from this point until a coaching change, because even after getting that playoff win last year this team hasnt changed and it's obvious now that nothing is going to change under this regime

Cutler was throwing into coverage again today. One INT, he threw into triple coverage. Bears OL looks like a mess.

Should be good stuff.

As would I.

We can do it, although Houston, Tennessee and Minnesota will be tough.

3-2 might be more likely imo.

Guess you should stop watching them then.

Why the hell are you conceding a loss to Houston?

Are they for the same reason you gave up on the team in Week 4 last year?

Great post.

Nothing is a gimmie at this point anyway. I fully expect a Mike Martz-led Bears offense will test this defense downfield much more than the Commanders did and who the hell is going to block Julius Peppers?

Doug Free. He's pretty good.

First game for me at the new stadium. Can't wait.

Houston was just an example. We'll have 4-5 more of these games this year and, if we make it to the playoffs, another one on that stage. It's the staple of every team Phillips has ever coached.

We may start 4-1, or 0-5, or 3-2...in the end it won't matter. Nobody with any objectivity can possibly think we won't cost ourselves another season at some point, because we've done it every eyar under Wade.

I thought maybe things had changed last yea, even after the Wade team we know and love showed up in Minny last year. I was wrong. We lost tonight for the same reasons we always lose under Wade. Never a lack of talent, always a lack of preparation, discipline and coaching

Norm Hitzges said if the Cowboys play all season like they did tonight, they will be 3-13 including 0-8 on the road. It really isn't much of an exagerration. I think the Cowboys will play better, but if they don't, a victory against Chicago is not a shoo-in.

Can't, it's a hopeless addiction

That it makes it that much worse, because I know they're going to crush my spirit again..and again...and again

Wade should have been fired after the '08 seasons, but Jerry's pride got in the way

Except when he got ate up in the playoffs last year. As a full-time starter at left tackle he's played one regular season game so far, so I'm not exactly ready to say he's ready to man up with someone like Julius Peppers. Expect to see Witten staying back to help block again.

Yes it matters and speak for yourself, it isn't tough for true Boyz fans to get up for a game each week. I can't wait for the bears game....

You say this now. Then we win a big game and you make a weeping post about how you were wrong all along and won't bash this team again.

Then we lose a game. And you go back to your same ole shtick.

It really is a neverending cycle with you isn't it?

Stafford got hurt on a play where Peppers abused their tackle. Don't know if anybody mentioned that but yea. Romo could be joining Matt pretty soon.
