I like Desmond as a zone corner a la Ronde Barber. Should be able to contribute immediately, he is complete package in terms of technique, instincts and smarts. Very physical in run game and is a ball hawk. Forget his less than ideal size, again Ronde, or combine speed.

Would love him in the 3rd.

Love King. Would love him in the 3rd too... but he won't be there.

I don't think he'll be there at our 2nd round pick, either.

Combine speed and measurements will drop him a bit, especially in such a deep CB class. And the other positions are pretty deep too (RB, WR, S, Edge, LB, etc.). That is my hope anyway. If not other good players will pushed down to our 2nd pick.

He would have been a sure first rounder last year tho.

I love Conley's length. But I know what you mean. Cutrer is fun to watch. Interested to see how he runs at the combine. Also check out Brendan Langley. I was really impressed with him.

That's what I've been saying... this CB class is deep:omg:

You're right about the other positions pushing him down but I just don't see him available at out second. He has everything going for him except speed. Team's love his type of intangibles, smarts and instincts. He's tough, tackles well, has great hands, just really the entire package minus straight line speed.

Having said that, I hope I'm wrong and you're right.

Yeah, last year he would have been a first round pick, although his lack of pure foot speed would have been uncovered at the combine anyway.

If he runs a 4.6 or worse, no way he's a first rounder. And if he tops out under 5'11 that would bring him down a notch too. Pretty stupid reasons IMO but the combine tends to make teams go a brain dead and over analyze/underestimate what they see on tape.

He already measured in at the Senior Bowl at just a hair over 5'10" even with short arms (29 7/8").

I don't agree with Deion much, but as he likes to say "if you're short and slow, that's not a good combo for a CB in this league."

Not good start to pre-draft evaluations. His 40 better be 4.5 or better for his sake.

Tabor is more like 5'10 than 6'0.
Humphreys has top-end speed. He just didn't get to show it in Alabama's scheme. He's going to be a better pro than college player.
