This is how I feel about Diggs summed up pretty well:

I think he can figure that out. I have faith in quinn

i also hate that this is the narrative for a guy that locked down Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin and countless other top WRs.

We shall see.

I wouldn't mind sacrificing INTs for less yards given up.

Those yards given up extend drives. I guarantee Diggs is responsible for a lot more extended drives that led to a TD or FGs than he is for any game changing INTS. I promise you that.

See since we started this debate I’ve gone back and watch almost every game and all 22 from last year. The answer is. No he wasn’t. He didn’t really allow many game changing plays to his side of the field. And he also from what I watched was never abused, not ever. Not like say Anthony brown vs the raiders. Yes I would trade some interceptions tor yards but again, it’s all relative, a lot of the yards he gave up were not his fault.

I'm not talking about him specifically allowing a game changing play.

I'm talking about him allowing a catch for 9 yards on 3rd and 8 extending a drive that eventually led to a TD or FG for our opponent.

He gave up a ton of yards. That's why I said that the INTs he got would not offset the type of plays I referenced above.

I know for a fact that he had at least 11 penalties that gave up first downs. Now, add in the little 5 or 9 yard catch here and there on 3rd down that extended drives and I guarantee that Diggs penalties combined with yardage given up lead to more points for our opponents than you'd like to admit. 11 INTs don't cover all that up for everybody. It will some people, but as the coach in the tweet above attested to, it's a big problem that INTs can't hide.

Basically this:

Yeah I’m not sure those stats are accurate lol. I watched the film. But it is what it is. Let’s see if he cleans it up this season ya?

Come on now.

You're not the only one that watches film. You can't just discount those numbers because you don't like them.

This is the knock that literally everyone has on Diggs. He's too boom or bust and the numbers show it.

Its like ignoring 11 INTs that literally stopped drives, the two he scored TDs or the over 20 passes defended that literally ended plays.

It's not ignoring anything.

It's looking at the whole picture without tunnel vision.

"Hey, look at the INTs, but whatever you do don't look over there!"

We'd prefer that you do it via PM so we don't have to sit through the interruption of this little spat.
K - this OP has a strong history( about 90% of post and threads) of trolling Dak which recently was called out . It appears an attempt to troll on other players to diversify.

No it's not. It's looking at partial data that can't be measured or compared to his peers.
And why? Because you're not factoring in coverage assignments accordingly. Completely ignored.
Show me what plays he got beat that resulted in a TD from his coverage.
Show me all of the yards he prevented from a turnover or pass defended.
You can't.
You're not a "glass is half empty" guy, your bone dry.

Lol. Hey. Stats don’t tell the whole story though. I watched the film too. And I’m telling you. There is no way that almost 50 percent of the receptions diggs allowed were for first downs lol.

ALSO. how many were in garbage time? Did this person factor in those numbers?

Anyone attacking Diggs after the season he has is simply trolling.

It’s known and has been discussed of Diggs weaknesses in coverage . It doesn’t discount the big season he had. Is there room for improvement , of course .

Why's there no possible way that 45% of the catches Diggs gave up resulted in a 1st down or TD?

He gave up 17 YPC on 54 completions according to PFR.

Are you telling me that you can't see a scenario where you give up THAT many yards on that few completions where a big portion of those resulted in 1st downs?

How many probowl votes did he get, that's from coaches, players and fans.

No. It's not that they don't want to. It's that they don't care like you.

Others come here to talk about the Cowboys and their players instead of worrying about what I'm posting. 90% of my posts may be about Dak, but 90% of yours are about me.

You and your bud should take notes.

The set up on this thread is classic trolling when he said Cowboys fans aren’t going to be happy this CB ranking when most would prob agree.

It’s an obvious attempt to incite fans reaction. Maybe this person doesn’t know how easily trolling is indentified especially when they have history of trolling other players , like our QB.

I’m not sure but it’s been widely covered in our local papers and media that Diggs coverage is suspect at times .
