I was trying to prove a point when I asked if "you" open the door for guys. I wasn't implying it' sa bad thing. I was baiting that racist into admitting he ONLY does it for women.
I always open the door for my friends (male or female) and I've often pulled out their chairs too.
But someone that does it only for women, it implies that thta person thinks the woman is helpless. I don't agree with that. Sure you treat women with respect. Of course.
But I had a step father that liked to beat up on my mother, and he always opened the door for her and pulled out her chair.
Point is opening doors and pulling out chairs doesn't mean you're respectful to women, it's how you treat them personally. You don't have to pull out a freakin' chair to respect someone. And pulling out a chair doesn't mean you respect them either.
And I was taught not to be a racist piece of crap, something sif's daddy (if he even had one around) obviously didn't teach him.
