And Johnny Manziel.And Blaine Gabbert.
And Johnny Manziel.And Blaine Gabbert.
Best case scenario for our great No.77...he puts in two quality seasons before hanging up the shoulder pads.I think the concern for Tyron's health is warranted however if the surgery took care of that lingering neck issue (and I know that's not guaranteed) then we get peak (or close to peak) Tyron back for 14 games a season for the next 5 years.. I'm taking that over anything coming out of college. Like I said, you need insurance just in case there is something else chronically wrong or if just normal wear and tear takes him down.. But remember D-Ware had much the same issue which led to our parting ways with him.. and all he did was go add two more pro bowls and a Super Bowl to his Hall of Fame credentials. The smart play is to get yourself a developmental tackle in the mid rounds.. I don't think we can roll with UDFAs as our safety net another year. And it's not like Cam Erving is on like his 4th team and playing his 3rd position because he's good ..
And you are a moron. Both if their O lines were equally horrible for years. Offensive weapons? Not counting TY hilton it's a wash and even with TY, Luck is the reason he was so highly rated.
Seattle had one of the most dominant defenses during that stretch though where Indy didn't. We all know how important a defense is for an offense. See current cowboy situation.
If luck was on a good team with a good coach he would still be the best QB in the league right now.
For you short sighted idiots, russell was still considered top 15, 2-3 years ago. It's only been in the last 1-2 years that he has improved even more and is now in the top 5.
But go ahead and keep talking football, your like the Pop Warner dad's on the sidelines. Talk alot but don't really know what the f#&$ you are talking about. Your 300pound a$$e$ haven't seen a football glory day since your9th grade JV stint.
Nah bro.Wow I can't even tell you how f&$&@ing wrong you are. It's like you have no skill in evaluating football mechanics or skill. You just watch it, like a woman does. He was the highest rated QB since peyton to come out of college and he didn't disappoint in the NFL.
Luck is one of the best QBs of the last decade, problem is he came into a **** team and was relied on to do too much and to top it off he didn't have a good defense like Russell always had in Seattle. Russell has now come into his own and can carry a team, defense or not but it took years for him to get that good. Luck wasn't give. That opportunity and retired early because of the abuse he racked up.
Where is the colts head Coach right now that oversaw the colts during luck's reign? Oh he's a DC somewhere.
Who is wilson and mahomes HCs? 2 of the best nfl coaches that have been doing it a LONG time.
Stick to whatever it is you do for a living, you suck at evaluating football talent at the QB level, at least.
Nah bro.
Wilson on the colts they don’t lose to the Patriots that year in the AFC championship game.
Wilson has 15 TDs and 1 INT and a 3-1 record against the Patriots.
Luck on the other hand has more nearly 2x as many interceptions than touchdowns the Patriots, never won a game, and played
Luck was garbage compared to Wilson and Mahomes. He has more interceptions than touchdowns in the playoffs and a career passer rating lower than Johnny Manziel
Great regular season stat padder though!
He runs a 4.7 forty and busted a 67 yard run on OSU’s defense last year in the BCS semifinal. Granted, that run was after OSU lost Wade but still...
Lawrence out ran a very fast defense.
Nobody is going to know if Dak can play again until camp opens - he may not even pass a physical by then. It's unlikely that the injury will have no effect - the question is whether the impact will be significant or minimal. Even if he regains 99% capacity, it will take at least a season post recovery for him to get mobility/confidence back. I know two people who got similar injuries in football - this is not an easy recovery - its a harder recovery to e.g. ACL.
Front office knows this. You cannot plan to rely on Daks recovery.
Lawrence = Chad Pennington
Don’t rain on the parade, Lawrence is the savior that will fix all of the ills of the past.2011:Cam Newton (MVP)
2012: Russel Wilson (Hall of famer)
2013: (bad year)
2014: (bad year)
2015: (bad year)
2016: Dak Prescott (OROY)
2017: Patrick Mahomes (MVP)
2018: Lamar Jackson (MVP)
2019: Kyler Murray (OROY)
2020: (Too soon to Tell)
The best quarterbacks of the past decade have been athletic playmaking quarterbacks. Drafting Trevor Lawrence may be the dumbest mistake a franchise can make. Hopefully, Fields will be available with the cowboys draft pick
Fields plays exactly like a bigger Russel Wilson with similar arm talent and an uncanny sixth sense for the deep ball.
Lawrence’s ceiling is a worse Andrew Luck. Someone who in his BEST season didn’t even have numbers better than Russel Wilson’s WORST season since 2015
I have heard a half a dozen doctors interviewed about this injury and not one has painted anywhere near as bleak a picture as you just did. To a man they have all said they have gotten to the point with this injury that full recovery is pretty much a foregone conclusion. The key was that there was no nerve, ligament or vascular damage. Had there been it would have complicated matters. But by all reports it was a clean break and dislocation. Once they put the joint back together and installed the rods it was a done deal. I strongly suspect that they two people you know didn't have NFL doctors and rehab specialists working on them.
