..is that we finally have our QB.

A franchise, rightly or wrongly, is defined by the QB.

And we've had 9 since Aikman.

It was painful to see Testaverde on the field...same with Bledsoe. For me, there was always something missing. Rental QB's don't ignite a lot spark with the fan base.

But we've got our QB now...and he'll be the face of the franchise for a long time. :)

Agreed. For the first time since Aikman I actually expect good things to happen when Romo drops back to pass, instead of holding my breath hoping something bad doesn't happen.

I'm right there with ya brother!

Romo looks like the next great QB in the exclusive Great Cowboy QBs club. I want to see him against NE before I get all excited but right now I'm I'm feeling warm and fuzzy.

I love the kid. He is quickly becoming my favorite player.

BECOMING?! Geez! :D

That kid turns on a home town crowd like no one I've ever seen outside of Favre. Did you hear that crowd after the overhead snap and the the run for the TD? I've never heard anything like it as a Dallas fan and I go back to the 60's.

Favre said he was reviewing Dallas vs Giants game in preparation to play against Giants (week 2) and he said as he watched Romo's plays, that looks lot like how I used to play and gave props to Romo.

On his scramble that he made a 1st down, I felt nothing but amazement. That was Fran Tarkenton-like in some ways. Truly amazing. I love the kid. Seeing him smile and have fun, makes me have even more fun with this game I love.

That play was awesome! did any of you feel he was gonna do sumthing special once he grabbed the ball and started lookin downfield? i dunno i had this feeling he was gonna do sumthing..and he did. (got the incredible 1st down)

ROMO IS FOR REAL.

I've been watching this game for a long time and out the hundreds of games that I have watched......The Romo scramble for the 1st down after having the ball snapped over his head is one the most amazing plays I have ever witnessed.

That play turned the game around.......TO standing on the field shaking his head and laughing. I think he was somewhat amazed as well.:D

Well, ya know...there will be time where Romo will screw up because he's always looking to make a play...like this one. The "smart" play was to simply fall on the ball...

BUT...I am quite sure that his positive plays will outweigh the negative by a lot.

This was a perfect example.

That was great especially with Tony smiling the whole time. That play was even better than Purdue beating ND although the Purdue victory was a very close second.

And Please let speak no more of the lack of Qb since Troy, please don't spoil my weekend pleasure.

Me too, until he gained control, then I started yelling "Throw the ****ing ball!" (Parcells speak). I was just hoping it'd manage to go out of bounds past the LOS.
