I can't remember it ever being this good.

We have 3 major Texas Newspapers contributing articles and blogs. We have forum members sharing their opinions and photographs. There's an excitement in the air about the team.

I just don't remember it ever being this good.

Been to practice twice and got on the field yesterday thanks to my True Blue pass.
Saw Shango before practice, but I was still in the stands.
That dude apparently got he all access VIP pass or something.
That place is a party!
Packed both times I've been there.
Outside they have numerous Cowboys activities and shops, and a bunch of Ford trucks, including that gigantic Super Chief.

Understand attendance at the 2nd practice yesterday afternoon was slightly over 11,000 -- that's not bad. Won't be surprised if it isn't higher this afternoon.

Naw, the zenith was the great Quincy Carter/Chad Hutchinson competition... it just doesn't get any better than that, two brilliant athletes at the top of their games, battling it out tooth and nail... the drama, the charisma, the pure excitment...

The amount of info this year is just staggering. Part of it might be due to the tc locale (SA rather than Oxford), but the quality of the reporting seems WAY UP , as well.

My awards as of now.

Biggest tc reporting addition - MYSAE.com's Chad Peters.

Biggest improvement in tc reporting - the DMN blog...(good riddance, Matt Mosley!)

Most incredible eyewitness "Superfan" reporting - Grizz. (If Mosley is at ESPN, Grizz should own SI).

Best video input - Shango. adds a whole 'nuther element.

Most appreciated - all those wonderful fans willing to share their intelligent and insightful camp observations.

Biggest tc loss - Calicowboy's incredible photos. Oxford's biggest plus.

What's really neat is the quailty of the reporting is so UP, so much preciser, and SEEMS so less slanted to what an individual might be looking for over what a fanbase is hungry for - that the emphasis on crisp, clear reporting even seems to be un-fluffing dc.com a bit. But that's what savvy reporting does - elevates the level of the entire discourse.

Can't wait to see what actual scrimmage or 11 on 11 drills will sound like. Yes, those who DO care about things like stunts and rotations are finally going to get FED in tc!

Actually, CC, I believe it's being filmed today and will be aired tomorrow evening on NFLN. Someone please let me know if I am wrong...I sure wouldn't want to miss it!

So he should definitely go and wear his mask so that we can see him on TV.

I always enjoyed Matt Mosley, and still enjoy his ESPN stuff.

Especially if he was holding a sign that said "Thanks for posting."

I believe that would make my day.

I'm just stunned as to how good this info is myself. I remember years where I'd wait all day for a 2 paragraph sniff of this info.

I so agree with you here Ab. I remember when boozeman used to call for a chat on the old site by announcing it as Dale-a-palooza and Dale, who was then an intern for DC.com and DCweekly.com would come in and share insights on how guys looked. Those were the best chat sessions ever.

Outside of his play by play posts and chat sessions all we got was fluff articles. This year there is real substance. I still think Todd Archer's road trip article about Romo, Newman, and Witten headed to Camp was the best piece this year.

"We're all going to die."
