The amount of info this year is just staggering. Part of it might be due to the tc locale (SA rather than Oxford), but the quality of the reporting seems WAY UP , as well.
My awards as of now.
Biggest tc reporting addition - MYSAE.com's Chad Peters.
Biggest improvement in tc reporting - the DMN blog...(good riddance, Matt Mosley!)
Most incredible eyewitness "Superfan" reporting - Grizz. (If Mosley is at ESPN, Grizz should own SI).
Best video input - Shango. adds a whole 'nuther element.
Most appreciated - all those wonderful fans willing to share their intelligent and insightful camp observations.
Biggest tc loss - Calicowboy's incredible photos. Oxford's biggest plus.
What's really neat is the quailty of the reporting is so UP, so much preciser, and SEEMS so less slanted to what an individual might be looking for over what a fanbase is hungry for - that the emphasis on crisp, clear reporting even seems to be un-fluffing dc.com a bit. But that's what savvy reporting does - elevates the level of the entire discourse.
Can't wait to see what actual scrimmage or 11 on 11 drills will sound like. Yes, those who DO care about things like stunts and rotations are finally going to get FED in tc!
