Green Bay was the last team in the NFC that could say they actually beat us.

And their team was the only team with enough balance that I thought they might actually give us some trouble (other than the Vikings).

I am not at all scared of Arizona. Their offense is no better than Phillys, and their defense is a complete joke. If somehow they beat New Orleans, we're going to the super bowl without incident.

So am I... I did not want the Cowboys to see those guys again this year, not that any of the other teams are that much easier.

Being hot... hitting our stride down the stretch(ala Giants and Stealers). I feel we can only beat ourselves. I really think we close the deal this year. And you know what... living in NY... New Yorkers are already moaning that just the thought that the BOYS ARE BACK bothers them immensely.

I do think the Saints are still a team that I would rather not face. Brees is POTENT.

Yes, they can put up a scary amount of points. They also can do it much more consistently than the Cardinals.

The other advantage playing the Cards over the Saints is that we get homefield. That Superdome can get crazy loud. We didn't have to deal with it too much because we were in control the whole game.

the biggest thing is, no team in the tournament other than the chargers can even say they beat us now. Thats very key to me.

Green Bay certainly had the better defense (outside of Dallas :) ) in playoffs this year....and that is always a team to be scared of. A balanced offense and big play defense still seems to be recipe for winning superbowl. I love the showdown between Favre and Romo and minny hasnt lost at thier stadium yet this year...so this WONT be easy....but will be great game because both QBs can be electric.

Green Bay just never impressed me much. Other than Dallas and Baltimore, their 7 or 8 wins to end the season consisted of playing some of the league's worst teams and an Arizona team resting their starters.

The only reason that Green Bay made the playoffs over the Giants is the pathetic shedule that they played.

One key difference for me. This is not the Cowboys of 00's.

THis is what I said.

The PAckers would give us more problems then the Cardinals for one reason. Rodgers can avoid our pressure better then Warner. And with those Wr's it would be a tough test for Newman and Jenkins.

Either way This Cowboys team is playing on another level. I'm not affraid of either team, but as a fan I would rather not face the Packers. Just giving some respect.

I wanted the Packers. Wanted to kick their aces. Their pyscho package is confusing, but leaves huge passing holes in the middle of field.

AZ kicked our butts last season, I can get good and mad for them too. Sunday can't get here soon enough. :D

Isn't that what they used to say about NO til we bulldozed them? :wink2:

Sorry, but all of the injured players are back. Jabari Greer, Tracey Porter, Scott Fujita, Scott Shanle and Darren Sharper were the five injured defensive starters and they are all back and healthy. Charles Grant is the only starter that is out and he has been more of a liability than an asset. He replacement will be an upgrade. The Saints are the healthiest they have been since week 8.

It is funny that the Saints and their fans never pointed to the injuries until they started losing.

Until the loss to the Cowboys, everyone raved about their ability to pull guys off the street and suit them up.

Then the excuses started flying...

The Saints defense wasn't that good when they were healthy...and Sharper did play against us, and was a non-factor.

I look forward to a rematch in your dome. Only this time, the score won't be that close.

I agree. Arizona's bunch sets looked VERY potent yesterday...and that was without Boldin. If I were a Saints fan, I'd be worried.

That NO vs Arizona game is going to be quite the shootout. If Warner plays a game anywhere close to the game he played yesterday, I'm thinking Arizona will be in the NFC Championship game.

New Orleans had better bring their offense. They haven't scored over 17 points in a month.

I think Zona wins this one running away.

I think Arizona's offense is actually better than Philly's. The Eagles are a feast or famine team, while the Cards can actually control the ball and move methodically downfield. Not to mention that Warner is a much much more accurate quarterback than McNabb.

I agree 100%. They also have an opportunistic defense, and I expect them to play better. Don't forget GB was one of the hottest offenses in the league the second half of the season, it's not a fluke they scored a lot.

You mean in the NFC right? Because the freakin jets defense is the reason they are even playing and the ravens flat out smothered Lord Brady.
