We all know how much this team values the fifth year option.

Picks 12 and 20 for picks 9 and 29.

Pick 9 is likely high enough to get one of the top tier defenders and pick 29 is still a first rd pick and offers the 5th year.

Most likely either Downs or Styles is available at 9 due to the belief in positional value. I would be thrilled with either.

Definitely the best move Dallas could make. With the 9th pick, it's almost certain that Caleb Downs will be available, and with the 29th, they could easily land a DE, LB, or CB.

Chiefs would need to be a willingness participant.

They’ve poached Anthony Hitchens Peyton Hendershot over the years among others I bet they would think about it . So they move down three spots but later on the round move up 9 . Not bad for Andy . He can still get Mahomes a receiver to go with Kenneth Walker as they rebuild

Styles at 9 would be my choice with the FA signing of Jalen Thompson at safety improving things . LB is in need of a green dot wrecking ball .

Im with you on the needs and that we need to go up to get him, my concern would be that this draft is so unpredictable (especially Downs and Styles (position).....and Bain's arms).

If we want a specific (and at the moment Sean Lee would still be on our LB depth chart), we need to be prepared to go all-in (even to sacrifice that 5th year).
Id go further, TO MAKE SURE, go 12/20/132 to Cleveland for 6/39/107 is perfect.....with our needs and the way the draft flattens out at about 15, the drop between 20 and 39 isnt going to be that severe (and as you say Cleveland get the extra 5th year).

Exactly what I've been saying and my dream pick is Bailey at 6. Micah Parson vibes but a bigger version.

Bailey falling to 6 is probably the only player worth even considering to move up that high. And the chances of him falling to 6 are quite slim.

Great thread bro. I’m 100% in line with your thinking here and have been preaching basically the same thing around here
